Every workflow has an associated audience that dictates who is eligible to receive its scheduled events. Depending on the workflow theme, the audience can be any combination of Sense members. Edit Audience is a powerful way to filter consultants into the right workflow and key to successful event delivery.
Creating an Audience
To select an audience for a workflow:
- Click the WORKFLOWS icon from the left Sense navigation panel.
- Select the workflow.
- Click AUDIENCE at the top of the workflow navigation page.
- Click Edit Audience.
There are two options when editing an audience:
- Select Everyone selects all members in the Sense directory as possible recipients, or
- Add Rule, which only selects members from the Sense directory that meet all conditions*.
When ready, click Save to start audience filtering (this can take several minutes). When ready, the audience page will display the list of members that match your chosen option.
*NOTE: Conditions are any combination of ATS or CSV fields that match an evaluation (i.e. is, starts with) with its variable. Evaluations differ by field type (i.e. date, string, number).
IMPORTANT: "+UPLOAD CSV" does not add a list of members to a given workflow. Rather, it redirects to the global "Import CSV" tool located in PEOPLE. If on Bullhorn ATS, please do not upload CSV at this time and try using pre-existing ATS conditions. As always, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org with any follow-up inquiries.
