How is NPS calculated?
The Net Promoter Score is calculated in a very specific way:
(# of Promoters - # of Detractors) / Total Responses
This yields your Net Promoter Score percentage (which is then multiplied by 100 to get your NPS).
Why isn't NPS a percentage?
As industry standard, Net Promoter Score is always represented as a whole number instead of a percentage. A percentage could mistakenly represent X% of your workforce are promoters; however, that is not the case.
