When deciding which fields to sync from your ATS or CSV, consider the following:
- Which fields will you want to use to customize messages, such as email address, name, client, etc.
- Which fields will you want to use to create audiences for workflows, such as Candidate Status, Client, etc.
In general, we suggest syncing as many fields as you have, as you never know when a particular field will come in handy.
If you’re on an ATS, please provide a document with the fields you’d like to sync to Sense, along with the “human readable” field mapping names you’d like them to display as. This can be helpful, as many ATS store fields in a difficult to read format such as candidate.owner.firstName, and it’s helpful to map them to easier names such as Recruiter First Name to ensure readability in Sense.
Your account manager can work with you to define your initial sync fields as part of the setup process.
