Previously, when a child group was created under a parent security group, all the candidates from the parent group were automatically added to the child group by default.
Now, we have introduced a condition where the parent and child group(s) cannot have the same number of candidates. The child security groups can have a subset of candidates present in the parent group.
Conditions when Creating a New Security Group
When creating a new security group, you’ll now first define rules and save them to create the child group. The Save button is disabled by default until the rules are defined.
The Include all candidates checkbox has been removed, as the child group will have a subset of candidates from the parent security group.
Conditions when Editing an Existing Security Group
If you are editing an existing security group that previously had the checkbox enabled, you should first uncheck the box and then define new rules for the child group to proceed. The Save button is disabled by default until the rules are defined.
Also, a banner appears informing that the child group cannot have all the candidates of the parent group.
