Overview
Sense’s Journey creation wizard is updated with new features to help you create journeys faster and easier. We’ve introduced Target audience and Lifecycle stage fields to make sure you are engaging with the people you want to be engaging with.
- Target audience: Shows the type of audience you want to target; i.e. candidates, internal employees, leads, and candidate references.
- Lifecycle stage: Shows the lifecycle stage of the audience; i.e. interview, looking for work, applying/applied for work, etc. If none of the options matches your intention, then you can select ‘Not meeting any of the above options.
After selecting your target audience and lifecycle stage, your business goals will be selected automatically.
You can create new user journeys by either copying matching playbooks or starting from scratch.
Below is the table containing Target Audience & Lifecycle change and respective Business goals & Journey Audience Type.
NOTE: All existing journey’s Business goals and Journey Audience types are mapped to the new system according to the below table.

What’s covered
- A new experience to create your Journeys faster.

How to use the new Journey creation wizard
[1] Navigate to Journey Section and click on Create New Journey.
[2] Click on “Select the target audience” and select your audience from the available options. Then click on “Select a lifecycle change” and select from the options available.
[3] Based on the target audience and lifecycle stage chosen, the Business goal will be selected automatically. Then, fill out the name of the Journey.
There are two options to create the journeys:
[A] By copying matching playbooks or journeys
[B] Create from scratch
[A] By copying matching playbooks or journeys
Here, you can see the existing playbooks and matching journeys that fit based on your Target audience and Lifecycle stage.
Matching playbooks/journeys (which are already available in your system) will be automatically suggested, according to your selection. You can select from any of the suggestions available.
[1] Select the matching journey of your choice and click on Save and continue.
[2] You will be redirected to create your audience. You can create your audience from the scratch or can use the existing list from the Audience Builder.

[B] Create from scratch
Here, If you don't find the matching journeys in your playbooks, then you can use the 'Create from scratch' option to create your new journey.
[1] Select the 'Create from scratch' option and click on 'Save and continue'.
[2] You will be redirected to create your audience. You can create your audience from the scratch or can use the existing list from the Audience Builder.
