Overview
A new option called "Specific date till Now" allows users to choose a fixed "from" date, and the data will continuously update until the present moment. Previously, users could only select a date range for the Scope, “from date” X to “to date” Y. This dynamic update ensures that the data remains current and not stale, reflecting user activity over time.
This new time scope feature is available for all existing events, including Email (journeys), Survey (email journeys), and External Links (links in journey email).
When combined with Sense, users can target candidate person types in any journey across any ATS, and it can be integrated with any entity data type, making it a powerful tool for data analysis and targeting.
Experience real-time updates with continuously refreshed data, ensuring you're always viewing the most current information, not outdated details from days or weeks ago.
For a better understanding of how the Now feature can be beneficial, here are some use cases:
- Use Case: Not enough people responded to your survey email.
Objective: Create a candidate cohort of users who haven't answered a specific survey email since it was sent from X date to Now, say from January 5 to today. You can target them with tailored emails or SMS messages in a separate journey.
“Now” feature advantage: Here, the "Now" feature dynamically updates the cohort of users who haven't responded to the survey email since it was sent.
- Use Case: Difficulty identifying and understanding why individuals haven't completed a survey
Objective:
- Create a list of recipients who haven't opened an email from X to Y date, say from January 4 to January 8, as part of your journey's inclusion criteria.
- However, exclude:
- Recipients who have completed the survey from X days ago to Now (today), say January 4 to January 15.
- Have opened an email once within the same timeframe [from X days ago to Now (today)].
Use this dynamic list to target non-responders with email/SMS reminders highlighting the survey's importance.
“Now” feature advantage: The "Now" feature automatically updates the list, so it always reflects the latest activity.
- Use case: Automate follow-up actions based on previous NPS responses (ratings over 8)
Objective: Identify customers with high scores (over 8). Send personalized emails to express gratitude for their positive feedback and politely request them to share their experience with a Google review.
“Now” feature advantage: The "Now" feature has enabled you to create dynamic segments based on the current data.
- Use Case: Remind the candidate to open the survey via Email/SMS
Objective: Create a list of candidates who have not opened the survey in the last 14 days to remind them with another Email/ SMS.
- A rule was created on January 28 to identify candidates who haven't opened a survey in the last 14 days (last 14 days = January 14 to January 28).
- Now, let's say Candidate A opened the survey on January 8, which is before this 14-day timeframe. However, Candidate B has not opened the survey yet.
- Even though Candidate A did not open the survey in the past 14 days, they are not included in the list.
- This is because the rule gives more importance to the event rather than the time scope (within the 14-day timeframe).
- Hence, only Candidate B would appear on the list for not opening the survey in the last 14 days.
“Now” feature advantage: The "Now" feature has a track of time and updates the data automatically.
