1. I’ve logged into the Sense web app, but when I open the Sense extension, it asks me to log in again. Even after entering my details, I am unable to log in. What should I do?
A. Ensure that you have enabled pop-ups and redirects for the page you are on in Google Chrome, and make sure that third-party cookies are allowed. These settings are necessary for the proper functionality of the Sense extension.
2. When using the "Grab numbers from screen" option in the extension, unknown numbers are also being added to Sense. How can I fix this?
A. Try disabling other browser extensions except for Sense and then use the option again. Other extensions might be interfering with the functionality.
3. How can I add a new WhatsApp template to my account?
A. Currently, the option to add a new WhatsApp template is not available in the UI due to the need for Meta approval. Please forward your request to Sense Support, and we will assist with the addition of your template.
4. How can I add a new variable for messaging?
A. At this time, only the available variables can be used for messaging. Adding new variables is not supported.
5. I’m texting a candidate, but the note writebacks are not showing in the ATS. What should I check?
A. Ensure that the candidate profile exists in the ATS with the same number that you are texting. The note write-backs will only appear if the candidate profile matches the number used.
6. I'm unable to send the broadcast message, and the send button is grayed out. What should I check?
A. The issue may be due to exceeding the broadcast recipient limit. Verify the recipient limit for your broadcast and adjust your limit accordingly.
7. Does blocking a candidate in messaging apply to all users?
A. No, it does not. Blocking a candidate in messaging is applied on a per-user basis. This means that when one user blocks a candidate, it only affects that specific user's interactions with the candidate. Other users within the system will still be able to view and interact with the candidate unless they also choose to block them.
8. The candidate details are in the ATS, but the names are not appearing in Sense messaging.
A. Ensure that your user account is assigned to the correct group with the appropriate rules. If the Group rules are not configured correctly, the candidate's name and other details may not be visible to you, and only the number will be displayed.
9. Does the Sense extension support the Microsoft Edge browser?
A. Sense officially doesn’t support Microsoft Edge, but since Edge is built on the same platform as Chrome, the extension is likely to work.
