Recruiters can create tasks to track candidate follow-ups, interview coordination, review activities, and other recruitment-related actions directly from the Tasks page. While creating a task, you can also configure reminders so notifications are triggered before the task is due.
To create a task and configure reminders:
- Navigate to the Tasks page.
- Click the + icon available at the top-right corner of the page.
This opens the Add Task window.
Configure Task Details
In the Add Task window, enter the required task information.
Task Name
- Enter the task name in the Task Name field.
- This field is mandatory.
Examples:
- Candidate follow-up
- Schedule interview
- Collect interview feedback
Description
- Use the Description field to add additional context about the task.
- You can format the content using the available rich text options.
This helps recruiters provide detailed instructions or notes related to candidate actions and follow-ups.
Task Category
Use the Task Category dropdown to select the relevant task type.
Available task categories include:
- Generic
- Schedule Interview
- Collect Interview Feedback
- Send Review Request
- Collect Review Feedback
- Send Candidate Form
- Send Internal Form
- Send Assessment
- Generate Offer
- Request for Offer Approval
- Send Offer to Candidate
Selecting the appropriate category helps organize recruitment activities and align the task with the required workflow.
Add Job
- Use the Add Job field to search and associate a job with the task.
- This helps recruiters connect the task directly to a specific hiring requirement.
Tag Candidate
- Use the Tag Candidate field to search and associate a candidate with the task.
- This is useful when creating candidate-specific reminders or follow-up activities.
Assignee
- In the Assignee field, select the user responsible for completing the task.
- By default, the logged-in user is added as the assignee.
- You can reassign the task to another recruiter, coordinator, or team member if required.
Add CC to
- Use the Add CC to field to add additional users for visibility.
- Users added here can stay informed about task-related activities and reminders.
Configure Due Date and Reminders
The Reminder & Add Due Date section helps recruiters configure when the task is due and when reminder notifications should be triggered.
To configure the task due date:
- Select the required date in the Due Date field.
- Select the required time in the Due Time field.
These settings determine when the task becomes due.
Add reminder notifications
You can configure one or multiple reminders for a task.
To add reminders:
- There will be due date which you can select for this particular task and track it.
- Click + Add reminder.
A reminder dropdown appears with multiple reminder timing options.
Available reminder options include:
- 1 hour before
- 3 hours before
- 1 day before
- 2 days before
- 3 days before
- 1 week before
To add multiple reminders:
- Click + Add more reminders.
- Select additional reminder timings based on your follow-up requirements.
This allows recruiters to receive multiple notifications before the task due time and helps ensure important recruitment activities are not missed.
Save the task
After entering all required details:
- Click Add.
The task is created successfully and the configured reminders are scheduled for notification delivery.
Recruiters and assigned users will receive reminders through notifications based on the selected reminder timings.
