Overview
Regarding touchpoints delivery, scheduling decides when and how many times a touchpoint will be sent to a consultant. It can create send patterns and/or frequencies and is personalized for each and every touchpoint. In addition, scheduling options change according to the chosen send type.
Scheduling touchpoint means setting up the date and time when this touchpoint has to be delivered to the recipient. Using scheduling we can set the trigger to touchpoint when it has to be sent to recipients.
Sense has various options to trigger the touch point, so that it can be made to reach out to recipients as their convenience.
We do have an information box that gives you basic details of trigger points.
Click on Send to activate or start scheduling the touchpoint.
NOTE: By default, it will be set to Don’t send, which means touchpoint is not yet activated or not yet Scheduled.
Once after Activating Touchpoint, you need to set the date and time. In order to do that there are some options available.
Trigger 1

It will not send any touchpoint SMS/ Email to Recipient
For example: If you do not want this touchpoint not to be triggered, you can use this option.
You can click on option None after activating touchpoint.
Trigger 2
On a date – and finished on that date:
It will send touchpoint SMS/ Email to the recipients on the same date selected and will finish sending on the same day. This trigger is relevant when you want to send any message where a particular date has significant relevance.
For example Birthdays, Work Anniversary, Joining Date or First Day Emails, etc.
For example : If you want to let your recipients know about any particular subject, you can set this trigger.
NOTE: If this is a new/never before activated Journey with more that 1000 audience members, you will not be able to activate it. Since that is the maximum number of messages can be sent.
