★ Overview
Sense AI Chatbot is evolving to understand the candidate’s responses in their natural languages and perform tasks based on the intent detected from the user’s utterances. We’re calling this ‘Chatbot 2.0’ until all users have migrated over to the new experience.
This allows you to create chatbots using preset question libraries that have been trained with recruiting-specific AI data models, to provide a better candidate experience through more fluid conversations.
Chatbot 2.0 is applicable to all types of bots, such as; Data Enrichment, Pre-screening, and Sourcing chatbots.
★ What's Covered
Chatbot 2.0 is an enhanced AI experience that understands the candidate’s natural language response to help you provide a good candidate experience and decrease your candidate drop-off rates.
Apart from an enhanced AI, chatbot 2.0 allows you to create flows with its Preset Questions Library and Custom Questions.
▶ Preset Questions Library
[1] The preset questions library is a list of the most common questions that you can use in a chatbot flow, and the bot will be able to understand the candidate’s natural language responses to these questions.
➥ For example, assume you ask the preset question, “What’s your name?”
Answers: If Candidate A replies, “My name’s John Doe,” and Candidate B replies, “I go by John Doe,” and Candidate C responds differently. Then in this scenario, the AI bot understands the intent of the candidate's response, and the bot will be able to extract the correct name from these different utterances to set the name value as “John Doe.”
[2] The listed questions in the preset questions library are divided into nine categories: Personal Information, Security Clearance, Compensation, Current/Recent Job Information, Employment Information, Certifications/Licenses, Education, Language, and Referral Questions.
[3] Each Preset Question has three sub-categories: Manage Response Type, Manage Data, and Exception & Transition Message (optional).

▶ Custom Questions
The custom questions tab is used to add any new question that is not available in the preset questions library. You can create a custom question in the same way that you create today using chatbot 1.0.
➥ Important: Please note that the newly added Custom Questions will not have the same level of performance as the Preset Questions. Chatbot 2.0 is trained on the Preset Questions Library to understand the candidate’s responses in their natural languages and perform tasks based on the intent detected from the user’s utterances.

▶ Adding Transition Messages to Preset and Custom Questions
[1] Chatbot 2.0 allows you to add a transition message to your conversation flows. You can use Transition Message to show a custom message when the candidate moves on to the next node.

[2] Once you add transition messages for the required nodes, candidates will see these messages before moving on to the next node.

★ How to build a new Chatbot 2.0 flow
Building a chatbot is the same process that you follow today on Chatbot 1.0. However, after 5/5/23, you'll be able to copy flows directly from Chatbot 1.0 to the new experience."
▶ Building new flow
Follow the below-mentioned steps to build a new conversation flow on chatbot 2.0:
[1] Log in to your Sense Platform and navigate to the Conversations.
[2] Click Create New Bot on the right side corner of the conversations tab and select Chatbot 2.0.
[3] Choose the required flow type with the required entity. Click Next.
➥ Important: Chatbot 2.0 is a medium-agnostic, which means you no longer need to choose between SMS and Web mediums. The same bot can be attached to an SMS or a Web touchpoint.

▶ Adding Preset Questions
[1] Click the ‘+’ icon on the conversation designer page to add desired preset questions from the preset questions library to the flow.
[2] Choose your required question from the available preset categories.
[3] Add required validations, Transition Message (optional), and ATS writeback fields to write back the candidate’s data to your ATS. Click Save.
[4] If your question is not available in the preset question library, you can use the custom option button to create new questions for your flow.

▶ Adding Custom Questions
[1] Click the ‘+’ icon to add a new question node.
[2] Click the Add Custom Question option on your screen's right-down side corner.
[3] Fill in the Node Title, Question, Response Type, Validation, Transition Message (optional), and ATS writeback fields to write back the candidate’s data to your ATS. Click Save.

[1] Chatbot 2.0 provides a more delightful candidate experience due to its enhanced AI and preset questions library.
[2] Sense AI Chatbot is trained on the preset questions in Chatbot 2.0. When you use/add these questions in the flow, the bot will be able to understand the candidate responses in their natural language and will be able to perform tasks accordingly.
[3] Chatbot 2.0 helps you improve your candidate experience and gives a human touch so that the candidate feels natural talking with the chatbot, and as a result, it helps you reduce the candidate drop-off rates.
