You have a lot of variable types at your disposal in Sense, sometimes many that aren’t relevant to your ATS or outreach strategy. Hiding and unhiding variables makes it easier for your team to use the picker dropdown when creating touchpoints by only giving access to the relevant variables they need to use and hiding the rest.
In Settings, Sense administrators can view, hide and unhide variables that show up in the Sense variable picker dropdown and also hide them automatically if they don't contain a value:
- Click Settings
- Select one of the ATS Fields
- Under the USE IN SENSE column, check or uncheck the boxes next to the variable you would like to hide from the variable picker dropdown list.

Note: if a variable is already in use, it cannot be hidden
