A candidate undergoes multiple screening processes before being hired by an organization, similar to how the Hiring Plan feature works.
Here is an overview of a candidate's lifecycle when hiring through Sense CRM:
- Screen: This is the initial stage for any candidate. Candidates who are sourced directly or added manually to a job are automatically placed in the 'screen' stage for that specific job.
- HM Review: Following the screening stage, the candidate moves to HM Review. In this stage, the associated hiring manager reviews the candidate profiles and either approves or shortlists them for further consideration.
- Assessment: Candidates who have been shortlisted can then be moved to the Assessment stage. Before setting up the specific rounds for assessment, it is necessary to enable any online assessment platforms available on Sense CRM.
- Interview Stages: These are stages defined by recruiters that a candidate progresses through after clearing the 'screen' stage. The exact number of interview rounds can vary, depending on the organization's hiring plan. Interviews can be physical or online and involve one or more interviewers.
- Pre-Offer: This stage is crucial for validating all candidate documents and details collected during the interview process and confirming the candidate's authenticity.
- Offer stage: Once a candidate has successfully navigated all preceding stages of the hiring plan, recruiters can transition them to the 'Offer Stage'. Recruiters can draft and issue the candidate's offer letter.
- Hired: After a candidate accepts a job offer, they can be marked as hired. At this point, the candidate will no longer be listed for other job opportunities.
- Rejected/On-Hold: Recruiters can reject or place a candidate on hold at any point throughout the hiring process.
A candidate can be actively involved in the recruitment process for only one job at a time (meaning they are in a stage of a specific job). However, there is no restriction on the number of jobs a candidate can apply for or have added. Similarly, a candidate can only be kept 'on hold' for one job at a time.
Moving a candidate from an interview stage in one job to an active interview stage in a different job is possible. When this occurs, the candidate's status in the previous job's interview stage will be changed to inactive.
