The Survey Dashboard provides a centralized space for managing all surveys. It includes a searchable list, filters for quick access, and the ability to create new surveys. You can access this module by navigating to Automation > Surveys.
The main screen is divided into the following sections:
- Search Bar: Use the Search Surveys bar at the top to quickly locate specific surveys.
- Filtering and Creation Options: To the right of the search bar, you'll find buttons for Entities, Status, and Create New.
- Survey List Table: The central area displays all surveys in a structured table with key details.
- Pagination: At the bottom, pagination controls help navigate across multiple pages of surveys.
Survey List Table
The Survey List Table gives you a quick overview of each survey. It includes the following columns:
- Survey Name: The name of the survey, clickable to open its detailed panel on the right.
- Entity: Indicates the primary entity associated with the survey, such as job_order, placement, candidate, corporate_user, etc.
- Created By: Displays who created the survey and when
(e.g., vaibhav.agarwal@sense.com | 20 hours ago) - Mapped Resources: Shows how many workflows or resources are linked to the survey.
- Status: Reflects the current stage of the survey, such as:
- Ready to use
- In Use
- Draft
- Action Menu: Represented by a three-dot icon, this menu provides status-specific actions like Rename, Preview, Publish, or Delete.
The options appear based on the status:- Ready to use: Rename, Edit Survey, and Delete Survey
- In Use: Rename and Preview Survey
- Draft: Rename, Edit Survey, Publish Survey, and Delete Survey.

Filtering Options
Two main filters are available at the top right of the dashboard:
- Entities Filter – Refine the list based on the associated entity. Options include Internal Employee, Candidate, Job Order, Submittal, Placement, and Interview.
- Status Filter – Filter surveys by their current state: Ready to use, In Use, or Draft.
Viewing a Survey
When you click on any survey, a side panel opens on the right, displaying detailed information and performance metrics. This panel follows a consistent layout across all survey statuses.
- Survey Name & Status appear at the top of the panel.
- Example statuses include:
- Ready to Use – e.g., for the “Test” survey
- In Use – e.g., for the “Manager Feedback Loop” survey
- Draft – e.g., for the “test” survey
- Example statuses include:
- A Close (X) button is available in the top-right corner to dismiss the panel.
Survey Details Tab
When selected, you’ll see:
- Focus Entity – Defines which entity the survey is associated with.
- Last Updated – Displays who last edited the survey and when (e.g., admin: agarwal@sensehq.com | 20 hours ago).
- Created By – Lists the creator and creation time (e.g., Adam Hilly | last week).
- Hide Details – A toggle option that appears below the Focus Entity.
- Workflows Mapped – Indicates how many workflows are connected and how many are active (e.g., 2 Active out of 2).
- For example, the Manager Feedback Loop survey includes:
- Placement Workflow Survey Export (1 node)
- Placement Writeback (1 node)

Performance Tab
Provides a snapshot of how the survey is performing:
- Surveys Sent – Total count of surveys dispatched
- Surveys Completed – Number of completed responses
- Response Rate – Completion percentage

Located next to the Performance tab, the actions vary by survey status:
- Ready to Use:
- Rename
- Delete Survey
- In Use:

Icons on Survey Panel
- Edit Icon (✏️)
- Visible only for surveys in Draft status
- Clicking this takes you to the Survey Builder for editing content and structure
- Eye Icon (👁️)
- Visible for surveys that are In Use
- Allows you to preview the live survey layout and flow
