[1] Does the bot performance change if I choose Data Enrichment vs. Pre-Screen? Will the bot behave differently?
Answer: No, the bot will not behave differently.
[2] How does the bot functionality differ when I select SMS vs. Web?
Answer:
Web conversations are held in a web browser. The conversations are distributed to candidates through an email, with a link to the conversation in the email. Since there is content in the email before the user starts the conversation, remember to keep the flow of the content from the email to the conversation logical. If you use a meetings node, the scheduler will be in the chat window.
SMS conversations are held over SMS. The first message is the first point of contact with the candidate. If you use a meetings node, there will be a link to the scheduler in the conversation.
[3] How long is the building process?
Answer: After you click the “build button” in the conversation designer, your conversation should be done building within 24 hours (it is usually done even earlier). If your bot is extremely complex, the building might take more than a day or you might see the status in manual review.
[4] Can I edit the conversation flow after the bot is built?
Answer: No. After you hit the build button, you cannot edit that same bot. In order to make changes, you have to copy the existing bot, and then edit that copy.
[5] How do I copy my bot?
Answer: Navigate to the Conversations main page. To the right of a conversation’s status are three dots. Click the dots>Select Copy.
[6] What is a node/what does jump-to mean/what response type should I use?/etc.
Answer: Check out the Conversation Builder Glossary for in-depth descriptions of all the functions in the conversation builder.
