After creating a workflow, you’ll be directed to the canvas, where the actual process of building your workflow begins.
Navigating the Canvas
- Trigger Node: At the heart of the canvas, you'll find the Trigger Node, which serves as the starting point for your workflow. This is where you define the initial conditions that will set your workflow in motion.
- Workflow Name and Options: At the top of the page, next to the workflow name, you'll see a drop-down arrow. This menu offers the following functionalities:
- Rename Workflow: Easily rename your workflow for better organization and clarity.
- Workflow Details: Clicking on this option opens a pop-up that displays all the details of the workflow, including configurations and settings.
- Share Access: Toggling the sharing option allows you to share the workflow with peers or specific user groups. Users with existing edit access in these groups will automatically be given edit access to this workflow. Depending on the permissions you grant, others can view or collaborate on the workflow.
- Delete Workflow: If needed, you can delete the workflow entirely from this menu.
- Star Icon: By clicking the star icon, you can mark the workflow as a favorite, making it easier to access later.
- Workflow Status: The workflow's status is displayed to the right of the star icon, indicating whether it is Active or Inactive.
Managing the Audience List
- Current Audience: The Audience List section shows the lists that are currently included or excluded from the workflow. This is crucial for targeting the right segment of users.
- Editing the List:
- Inactive Workflow: If your workflow is still inactive, you can freely edit the audience list—adding or removing lists as needed.
- Active Workflow: Once the workflow is active, the audience list becomes locked, preventing further edits to ensure consistency in targeting.
Finalizing and Activating the Workflow
When your workflow is fully set up and ready to go live, click the Activate button to enable it. This will start the workflow according to the defined triggers and settings.
+ Button
The + button allows you to add a new node to the canvas. Clicking this button will open the node drawer, where you can select and configure your new node.
Zoom Controls Feature
On the canvas, you'll find zoom controls in the form of magnifiers. Use these to zoom in for a closer look at specific nodes or zoom out to view the entire workflow layout.
Focus Button
The Focus button quickly resets the canvas view to display the entire workflow layout. Click the Focus button to return to the default, full view after zooming in or out.
