Get Started with Workflow Templates
Workflow Templates help you quickly create automation workflows using pre-built examples. Instead of building workflows from scratch, you can start with a template and customize it for your needs.
These templates demonstrate common workflow automation scenarios and help you understand how workflows can be structured for different use cases.
Workflow Templates are available in a dedicated Templates folder within the Workflow Dashboard.
Overview
Workflow Templates provide ready-made workflow structures that you can preview and convert into your own workflows.
Using templates helps you:
- Understand how workflow automation works
- Quickly implement common automation scenarios
- Reduce the time required to create workflows from scratch
Templates are read-only examples. To customize a template, you must create a new workflow from the template.
Where to Find Workflow Templates
Workflow Templates are available in the Templates folder in the Workflow Dashboard.
To access them:
- Navigate to Workflows.
- In the left navigation panel, select Templates.
You will see a list of available workflow templates that you can explore.
Browse Available Templates
The Templates folder displays available workflow templates along with a short description of the workflow use case.
From this page, you can:
- Browse available workflow templates
- View the template description
- Open a template to preview its workflow structure
The templates will be valuable in scenarios such as Database Enrichment, General Nurturing, Application Acknowledgement and Stage Updates, Pre-Screening and Evaluation, Profile Completion and Rejections, Hybrid-Onsite Qualification, Pre-Placement and Onboarding, On-Placement, Post-Placement and Redeployment, Database Cleanup, and Marketing and Sales Follow-ups.
Preview a Workflow Template
Before creating a workflow from a template, you can preview how the workflow is structured.
The preview shows the workflow flow, including the trigger and actions configured in the template.
The template preview is read-only and is intended to help you review the workflow before creating your own version.
Create a Workflow from a Template
To create a workflow using a template:
- Open a template from the Templates folder.
- Click Use this Template.
Configure the Workflow
After selecting Use this Template, you must provide the required configuration details.
These include:
- Workflow Name
- Focus Entity – The entity used by the workflow. This value is predefined in the template and cannot be changed.
- Category
- Tag
After entering the workflow details, complete the remaining setup steps:
- Map Entity Fields – Map the fields used in the template to the corresponding fields in your agency’s data structure.
- Select Modules – Configure any additional modules required for the workflow.
Once these steps are completed, you can finalize the workflow creation.
Expected Outcome
After completing the setup:
- A new workflow is created in your workspace based on the selected template.
- You can modify and customize the workflow as needed.
- The original template remains unchanged in the Templates folder.
