Important Notice: All customers using Office 365 on Sense Scheduling are required to upgrade their accounts to the latest version (V3). This is required because Microsoft is transitioning from an AD-based permissioning model to a Graph-based permissioning model. The previous version will be retired on January 11, 2025. Failure to upgrade to V3 will result in the inability to continue using Sense Scheduling as of January 11, 2025. The latest version introduces significant performance and security enhancements, making the upgrade essential for uninterrupted and improved service.

Steps to Upgrade Scheduler to the latest version:
Service Account Upgrade Instructions:
To upgrade your service account to V3, follow these step-by-step instructions:
- Initiate the Upgrade:
- Go to Settings > Calendar Sync page, select Upgrade Now on the top banner when prompted, as shown in the image below:
- Choose Service Provider:
- Select Office 365 from the options provided.
- Enter Tenant ID:
- Locate your Tenant ID (refer to this guide) and enter it in the Tenant ID field.
- Click Next to proceed.
- Authenticate with Microsoft Office 365:
- A new browser tab will open automatically.
- Enter your Microsoft Office 365 credentials when prompted.
- Once credentials are entered, admin will be redirected back to the Calendar Sync page where the migration would continue in the background.
- Once the migration is complete, a notification will confirm the successful upgrade.
- In case there are errors pertaining to the migration the banner will also allow you to create a support ticket as shown in the screenshot below.
Individual Manual Authentication
Each individual recruiter should follow these steps to re-authenticate their credentials and ensure a smooth transition:
- Locate the Notification Banner
- A notification banner will appear at the top of the screen, requesting you to upgrade the authentication method.
- Click Upgrade Now on the banner; shown below are product screenshots from the product website and the chrome extension, respectively.
- Follow the Guided Steps:

- After clicking the banner, you will be redirected to a new tab where you will be required to sign in with your Microsoft office 365 credentials.
- Once signed in, you will be redirected back to the Meetings Events tab, notifying you of the successful migration.
- Check for templates after migration - if they still exist or not; try test booking a meeting to check for any errors.
