Configuring ATS Field Mapping

Overview

The ATS Field Mapping step allows you to map fields from your ATS to the fields required by AI Recruiter.

These mappings enable AI Recruiter to correctly identify and process job, candidate, and hiring-related data throughout the sourcing, matching, screening, and analytics workflows.

Proper field mapping is required before an AI Recruiter can be activated.

Access ATS Mapping

You can follow the steps below to map the ATS fields:

1. Navigate to AI Team > AI Recruiter. 

2. On the AI Recruiter setup page, from the Setup Logic dropdown, select ATS Mapping. 

   If you're configuring it for the first time, you can click ATS Mapping on the AI Recruiter setup page. This will be available until the complete setup is finished.

3. The ATS Mapping screen opens, displaying all the required and optional fields that can be mapped to your ATS fields.

Map a Field

Accurate field mapping ensures that AI Recruiter can correctly read and process data from your ATS. The most critical fields to map are the Title fields for both Jobs and Candidates.

1. In the ATS Field to Read column, select the appropriate field from your ATS dropdown and map it to the corresponding Sense Field.
2. If you want records to be written back to your ATS, map the appropriate Sense Fields to the corresponding fields in the Writeback Field of ATS section.
3. Repeat these steps for both Candidates and Jobs. Once you’ve completed the mappings, click Save.

Your ATS field mapping is now complete.

Filter Mapping Status

The mapping page includes filters that help you focus on specific mapping requirements.

You can filter fields by status, such as:

• Candidate Matching
• New Application

Using these filters makes it easier to review incomplete mappings and identify required fields that still need to be configured.

Review Mapping Status

Before saving your changes, review the mapping table to ensure the following:

• Required fields have been mapped.
• ATS fields correspond to the correct Sense fields.
• No critical hiring or candidate fields are missing.
• Status indicators show successful mappings where applicable.

Proper field mapping helps ensure that an AI Recruiter can correctly process data and generate accurate matching and analytics results.

Save Your Changes

After completing the mapping, click Save Changes. A confirmation message will appear asking you to confirm the action. Click Yes, Proceed to save your changes. The mappings are saved and applied to your AI Recruiter configuration.

Edit ATS Mapping Fields

You can edit/update an existing field by following the steps below:

1. From the AI Recruiter page, click on the dropdown and select ATS Mapping.
2. On the ATS Mapping page, locate the field you want to update and select a different ATS field from the dropdown.
3. Click Save Changes to save. After saving the changes, you are redirected to the AI Recruiter page.Ae

Verify the Mapping Status

The ATS Mapping step will display its current completion status, allowing you to verify that all required mappings have been configured successfully. 

Expected Outcome: The system can now read and compare candidate job titles against your open job requirements.
