Creating an Active Jobs List from a Job Feed

Overview

The Create from Job Feed option allows you to create an Active Jobs list using an existing job feed available in Sense.

Instead of manually defining job selection rules, this option uses jobs from the selected feed as the source for the Active Jobs list. This provides a faster way to set up Active Jobs for AI Recruiter.

Once the list is created, AI Recruiter can use these jobs for candidate matching and sourcing activities.

Before You Begin

Before creating an Active Jobs list from a job feed, ensure that:

  • A job feed has already been configured and is actively syncing jobs into Sense.
  • The job feed contains the jobs you want AI Recruiter to use for matching.
  • Required job fields are available in the feed.

Create an Active Jobs List from a Job Feed

  1. Navigate to Automation > AI Recruiter.
  2. In the AI Recruiter setup flow, select Active Jobs.
  3. Click Create from Job Feed.

The Active Jobs setup wizard opens.

Step 1: Select a Job Feed

The first step is to choose the job feed that will serve as the source for the Active Jobs list.

  1. Select/Input the desired job feed from the available feeds.
  2. Review the feed details if applicable.
  3. Click Save and Proceed.

The selected feed will be used to populate the Active Jobs list.

Step 2: Review the Jobs Preview

The Jobs Preview page displays jobs retrieved from the selected feed.

The preview includes:

  • Total number of jobs available in the feed
  • Search functionality
  • Job details
  • Generated Job Application URLs

Use the preview to confirm that:

  • The correct jobs are included.
  • Job information appears as expected.
  • Application URLs are being generated correctly.

You can search for specific jobs and review individual records before creating the list.

Step 4: Create the Active Jobs List

After reviewing the preview:

  1. Click Start Sync.

Sense creates the Active Jobs list using jobs from the selected feed.

A confirmation message is displayed once the list has been created successfully.

After the process completes, you may see a confirmation similar to:

The Active Jobs list is now available for AI Recruiter and can be used during candidate matching and sourcing workflows.

What Happens Next?

Once the Active Jobs list has been created:

  • Jobs from the selected feed become available for AI Recruiter matching.
  • The Active Jobs setup step is marked as complete.
  • You can continue with the next AI Recruiter setup step, such as configuring Active Candidates.

Using a job feed is the quickest way to create an Active Jobs list when your organization already maintains an existing source of active job records.
