Creating an Active Jobs List Using an Existing List

Overview

The Reuse Existing Job List option allows you to use an existing job list as the source for your Active Jobs configuration.

Instead of creating a new list from scratch or selecting a job feed, you can quickly associate an existing job list with AI Recruiter. This option is ideal when you already maintain a job list that contains the active jobs you want AI Recruiter to use for candidate matching and sourcing.

Once selected, the existing list becomes the Active Jobs source for AI Recruiter.

Before You Begin

Before using an existing list, ensure that:

• A job list already exists in Sense.
• The list contains the active jobs you want AI Recruiter to use.
• The list is regularly maintained and updated with current job openings.

Create an Active Jobs List Using an Existing List

1. Navigate to Automation > AI Recruiter.
2. In the AI Recruiter setup flow, select Active Jobs.
3. Choose Reuse Existing Job List.

The Setup Sourcing List wizard opens.

Step 1: Select an Existing Job List

The first step is to choose the job list that will be used as the Active Jobs source.

1. Browse the available job lists.
2. Select the desired list.
3. Review the list details, including the number of jobs contained within the list.
4. Click Next.

The selected list will be linked to the Active Jobs configuration.

Step 2: Review List Details

After selecting a list, you can review details about the existing job list.

The preview may include:

• List Name
• Entity Type
• List Rules
• Number of Jobs
• Last Updated Information

Use this information to verify that the selected list contains the correct jobs for AI Recruiter.

Click Next to continue.

Step 3: Configure the Job Application URL

The Job Application URL enables AI Recruiter to generate direct application links for jobs within the selected list.

Enter the Base URL

Specify the base URL used for your organization's job application pages.

Example:

https://example.com/jobs

Add Job Variables

You can build dynamic job URLs by adding variables from the selected job records.

Common variables include:

• Job ID
• Job Title
• Job Location
• Job State
• Job Country

https://company.com/job_id/job_title

Example Generated URL

https://company.com/123456789/Production-Line-Associates

A sample URL is displayed to help validate the URL structure before proceeding.

Click Save and Proceed.

Step 4: Preview Jobs

The Jobs Preview page displays the jobs available in the selected list.

The preview allows you to:

• Review the total number of jobs.
• Search for specific jobs.
• Review job information.
• Validate generated Job Application URLs.
• Confirm that the correct jobs are included.

Before proceeding, verify that the selected list accurately represents your active job inventory.

Step 5: Create the Active Jobs List

After reviewing the preview:

1. Click Start Sync.

Sense associates the selected job list with the Active Jobs configuration.

A confirmation message is displayed once the process is completed successfully.

Verify the Active Jobs Setup

After the list has been attached:

1. Return to the AI Recruiter setup page.
2. Locate the Active Jobs step.

The Active Jobs configuration will display the selected list and indicate that the setup has been completed successfully.

What Happens Next?

Once an existing job list has been attached:

• AI Recruiter uses jobs from the selected list for candidate matching.
• The Active Jobs setup step is marked as complete.
• The attached list becomes the source of active jobs within AI Recruiter.
• You can continue with the next setup step, such as configuring Active Candidates.

Using an existing list is the fastest way to configure Active Jobs when a suitable job list has already been created and maintained within Sense.
