The Test tab allows you to simulate the Candidate Matching workflow and validate the complete matching, screening, evaluation, and communication process before activating the sequence.
Access the Test Tab
- Navigate to AI Recruiter.
- Open the hiring plan that contains the Candidate Matching module.
- Click the Test tab.
The Test page displays the simulation sequence and testing configuration panel.
Select Candidate Matching
- Under the Test for dropdown, select Candidate Matching.
The simulation sequence includes the following steps:
- Add Testing Configuration
- Run Candidate Matching
- Place Voice Call
- Run Candidate Evaluation
- Communications
Configure Test Details
- Enter a valid Email ID.
- Enter a valid Phone Number.
- Select the job that will be used for testing.
- Click Run Candidate Matching.
The Add Testing Configuration step is marked as completed.
Run Candidate Matching
The system begins searching for candidates that match the selected job criteria.
During this stage, AI Recruiter evaluates candidates based on job requirements, skills, experience, and configured matching criteria.
Once processing is complete, a list of matched candidates is displayed.
Review Matched Candidates
The matched candidate list displays information such as:
- Candidate Name
- Candidate ID
- Location
- Experience
- Applied Job
Each candidate record includes an Impersonate Call button.
Simulate a Screening Call
- Click Impersonate Call for the candidate you want to test.
The system:
- Selects the candidate.
- Selects the associated job.
- Starts the voice screening simulation.
The simulation sequence updates to show the selected candidate and job.
Complete the Voice Call
During the test call:
- Answer the call as if you were the candidate.
- Respond to the screening questions.
- Continue the conversation until the call ends.
After the call is completed, the Place Voice Call step is marked as successful.
Run Candidate Evaluation
After the call ends, AI Recruiter automatically evaluates the candidate based on the conversation transcript.
The system analyzes:
- Candidate responses
- Job fit
- Skills alignment
- Qualification criteria
- Screening outcomes
Review Evaluation Results
Once evaluation is complete, an evaluation report is generated.
The report includes:
Candidate Information
- Candidate Name
- Candidate ID
- Location
- Experience
Evaluation Score
An overall candidate fit score.
Evaluation Summary
An AI-generated summary highlighting the candidate’s qualifications and suitability for the role.
Transcript
A complete transcript of the screening conversation between the Voice AI and the candidate.
You can also download the transcript for review.
After reviewing the results, click Proceed to Next Step.
Preview Communications
The workflow then moves to the Communications step.
- Select a communication node from the dropdown.
- Review the message content.
Depending on the workflow configuration, you can preview:
- Email messages
- SMS messages
- Other communication templates
If available, click Test Send to send a test version of the selected communication.
View Test Log
To review previous test runs:
- Click View Test Log.
The Test Log displays:
- Test name
- Execution date and time
- User who performed the test
- Test email address
- Candidate details
- Matching results
You can also search, review, and download previous test records.
Result
After completing the test, verify that:
- Candidate matching returns relevant candidates.
- Voice screening works as expected.
- Candidate evaluations are generated successfully.
- Communication nodes display correctly.
Once validation is complete, click Activate End to End Hiring to make the workflow available for live candidate processing.
