Sense Messaging “Text Templates” allows you to organize your messaging templates into different categories and create new templates or customize the existing ones according to your needs.
The “Text Templates” feature is designed to improve your Sense Messaging experience with a vision of sharing standard and quality content templates to ease your communication and save more time.

★ How to use the “Text Templates”
[A] Dashboard
[1] The “Dashboard” showcases the Template Name, Category, Delivery Rate, Reply Rate, Opt-out Rate, Times Used, Visibility and Last Updated details.
- Template Name: This shows the name of the template.
- Category: This shows the selected category type, such as Redeployment, Referrals, On-assignment, Other, Engagement, Hiring, and Onboarding.
- Delivery Rate: This shows the delivery rate of the template.
- Reply Rate: This shows the reply rate percentage. For example, how many recipients have responded to the message.
- Opt-out Rate: This shows the opt-out percentage. For example, how many recipients have opted out from the category/message.
- Times Used: This shows how many times the template is used.
- Visibility: This shows the accessibility of the template, such as Pubilc access, Group access, or Self Access (Only Me).
- Updated On: This shows the last updated date for the respective template.
[2] The “Text Templates” Includes the pre-defined categories such as Engagement, High Volume, Hiring, On-Assignment, Onboarding, Other, Redeployment and Referrals.
Here are a few categories and use cases:
- Engagement: The Engagement Category can be used to communicate work anniversaries, birthday wishes or upcoming holidays.
- Hiring: The Hiring Category can be used to communicate your hiring needs, new opportunities, job fairs, or application follow-ups.
- On-Assignment: The on-assignment category can be used to communicate First Day Check-In, Survey, One Week Check-In and Survey, Timecard Reminder, Net Promoter Score Glassdoor / Ratings Request from the candidates.
- Onboarding: The Onboarding Category can be used to communicate onboarding paperwork, first-day instructions, first-day reminder, intro to the client and congratulating client and candidate.
- Redeployment: The redeployment Category can be used to ensure candidates are kept in the loop as their assignment ends and prepared to get a new assignment with your company. For example, End Date Confirmation, Resume Update Reminder, Next Job and End Date Reminder.
- Referrals: The referral category can be used to communicate about new opportunities.
[3] You can filter the dashboard with the category name, visibility or search with the template title to find your templates.
[4] Click “Export CSV” on the upper right corner to download the Text Template data in CSV format.
[B] Creating a New Template from Scratch
[1] Click “Add Template” in the upper right corner of the dashboard.
[2] Click “Start from Scratch” to create a new template from scratch.
[3] Add the Template Name, Category, Visibility and Template content. Click “Add Template”.
[C] Using an Existing Template
[1] Click “Add Template” in the upper right corner of the dashboard.
[2] Navigate to the categories and click the “+” icon to add a template.
[3] Use the “pencil” icon to customize the template according to your needs.
[4] You can edit, delete and clone the added templates from the three-dot option shown on the right side of each template.
