All customers using Office 365 on Sense Scheduling, are required to upgrade their accounts from V2 to V3, as V2 will be retired on December 31, 2024. Microsoft is transitioning from an AD-based permissioning model to a Graph-based permissioning model. Failure to upgrade to V3 will result in the inability to continue using Sense Scheduling as of 1/1/25. V3 also introduces significant performance and security enhancements, making the upgrade essential for uninterrupted and improved service.
As part of this upgrade, customers will also get access to some enhancements made to the Service Account UI. The enhancements are as follows:
- Filter, Sort, and Search Functionality: You can now easily filter, sort, and search through the list of users connected via the service account.
- Bulk Selection: The interface allows bulk-selecting users, enabling the connection or disconnection of multiple calendars simultaneously.
- Status Indicator: A visual status indicator now displays whether each user is connected or not.
- One-Click Connection: You can be individually connected or disconnected with a single click for streamlined management.
