Persisted Filters
Previously, when you applied filters to a dashboard and drilled into a more detailed view (such as a candidate or touchpoint-level report), those filters would reset upon navigating back. This behavior created unnecessary repetition and led to inconsistent user experiences.
The dashboard now supports filter persistence, meaning when you apply filters and drill down into the data, those active filters will take precedence over any saved filters in the dashboard.
For example, if you apply filters and click into a touchpoint, they’ll carry over as you drill deeper. Any changes you make will persist, and when you return or switch dashboards like Journeys, each view will remember the filters you last applied—saving time and keeping your workflow smooth.
What’s Changed
- Before: Filters (e.g., Candidate Name, Journey, Date Range) applied on the dashboard would be cleared when navigating back from a detailed view.
- Now: Any filters applied from the left-side panel will persist across navigation, both when drilling in and returning.
New “Sent From” Filter
A new Sent From filter has been added across all dashboard tabs. This allows users to filter data based on the sender, such as specific recruiters or automated systems. It provides an extra layer of flexibility when analyzing survey performance.
Save Dashboard Functionality
You can now save a version of a dashboard with their preferred filters and layout. When saving a dashboard, the applied filters are also stored. Users can optionally mark the saved dashboard as default, which ensures that the same filters and view are automatically applied whenever the dashboard is accessed.
This is particularly useful for teams or individuals who regularly analyze data in the same context and want to avoid resetting filters each time.
Important Note:
The system now follows a clear precedence rule to avoid confusion when multiple filters are applied.
If a user applies filters externally—such as from a parent dashboard or a shared link with pre-selected filters—those external filters will override any saved filters associated with the default dashboard. In this scenario, the saved dashboard’s filters will not be applied; only the externally applied filters will be in effect.
This behavior ensures consistency and clarity when users access dashboards through different entry points, such as bookmarks, shared links, or navigation from other modules.
