You can easily collect necessary files from candidates using Single-Use Secure Upload Links. This new feature bypasses traditional limitations, keeping your conversations organized.
Why Use Secure Upload Links?
Previous file sharing relied on SMS/MMS, creating major pain points. Carrier filtering often blocked attachments sent this way. File size restrictions limited the documents candidates could share. Also, sharing multiple documents became error-prone and inconvenient.
The new system removes these issues. Recruiters can now generate a one-time secure link for candidates. This enables safe file uploads without carrier limitations.
Upload Capacity and Key Features
Secure Upload Links improve efficiency by supporting multiple files and larger sizes.
- Upload Multiple Files: Candidates can upload up to 5 files per link.
- Handle Large Files: Each file can be up to 20MB. This file capacity covers most common recruiting needs.
Sending a Secure Upload Link
- In the message composer at the bottom of the recruiter–candidate conversation screen, click the Send link to securely collect file button.
- Clicking on this option automatically generates the single-use Secure Upload Link and inserts it into the conversation, ready to be sent to the candidate.
- Click Send. The candidate will then receive the link and can proceed with the file upload steps.
Uploading Documents Using the Secure Upload Link
The candidate can open the Secure Upload Link shared by the recruiter, which takes them directly to the secure file upload page. Here, candidates can safely upload up to five documents for the recruiting team.

Candidates can add files in either of the following ways:
Drag and drop files into the upload area.
Click the upload area to browse and select files from their device.
Verify File Requirements
Before uploading, ensure your files meet the following guidelines:
The maximum file size is 20 MB.
Supported file formats include png, jpg, jpeg, pdf, doc, and docx.
Complete the Upload
Once the files are selected, click Upload File. A confirmation screen will appear with the message “Success! Your files have been shared successfully.”
You’ll also see the name of each uploaded file listed on the confirmation screen.
Accessing Uploaded Files
Uploaded files integrate directly into your workflow, ensuring context stays intact.
1. Direct Conversation Integration
Uploaded files appear instantly in the recruiter–candidate conversation. This ensures you keep the context of the conversation intact.
2. Media History in Candidate Profile
Find all shared media history in the candidate profile. The profile’s third panel now consolidates this information. This history includes media shared via Secure Upload or MMS. It gives recruiters an organized record of all file exchanges.
