What’s New?
We are rolling out Joblists to all our users, providing them with the capability to dynamically add jobs to referral programs based on various filters. Job lists allow users to add jobs based on different criteria to a program. Also, any future jobs that get created and match the filter will get added to the program.
How Does It Impact Users?
In the earlier process, when onboarding an agency under the Default Program, the onboarding team would configure the rules to add jobs to the default program as requested by the customer. However, in the new flow, customers can directly add rules to a job list, which can then be associated with the default program. As a result, the jobs present in the job list will automatically attach to the program.
For other programs, in the earlier flow, users could add jobs to programs using filters. In the new flow, for any program, users can now add rules to a job list, which can then be associated with the program.
For example:
We have a default program and active jobs for Construction Workers, Warehouse Associates, and Forklift Operators.
In the previous version, if we wanted to attach active jobs to the default program, we would need to configure this in the agency's settings, which the onboarding team did.
In the newer flow, you can-
- Go to the Default Program.
- Add a job list named Active Roles.
- Set its rule to status == 'active'. As a result, all the active jobs (Construction Worker, Warehouse Associate, and Forklift Operator) will be automatically attached to the default program.
Before vs After Comparison
Q: How were jobs linked to referral programs before vs after the new flow?
- Before: Jobs were manually linked to referral programs using the ‘referral_active_jobs_rule’ configuration.
- After: Joblists automatically link jobs to programs using dynamic rules, eliminating manual effort.

- Before: New jobs required manual updates to be linked to programs in the Jobs tab.
- After: New jobs that match the defined filters in Joblists are automatically added to their respective programs.
Q: How were filters configured before vs after the new flow?
- Before: Filters were predefined and fixed during setup, limiting flexibility.
- After: Joblists offer fully customizable and reusable filters, enabling dynamic updates.
