Sense Agent Builder
AI Agent Builder is Now Live for All Chat and Voice Customers
Release Date: 14th April 2026
What's New
Customer admins and internal teams can now build, test, iterate, and publish Chat and Voice agents directly on the Sense platform.
As of April 14, all existing Chatbot and Voice customers have access to Agent Builder.

Job Matching in LLM Chatbots (Agent Builder)
Release Date: 8th April 2026
What's New
Admins can now add a Job Match module directly inside Agent Builder to support Inbound (sourcing) and Outbound (screening and enrichment) use cases.
To enable, go to Agent Builder → Add Module → Job Match.
Key Points
- Candidates can refine their job preferences (role, location, etc.) during the conversation. Matches are confirmed only after explicit candidate confirmation, improving relevance and engagement.
- Spanish language support is now available — job match results display in Spanish when the conversation language is Spanish.
- No manual mapping required. The system reads from ATS mappings (Sense EAD configuration) and automatically determines what to ask and how to process candidate input.
- ATS fields are only updated when candidate input differs from existing data.
Note: Instant apply and application creation are not supported in this release. After job matches are shown, candidates are redirected to the job page.

Scheduling in LLM Chatbots (Agent Builder)
Release Date: 28th April 2026
What's New
The Scheduling module is now available in LLM chatbots within Agent Builder, enabling automated meeting booking with flexible configuration and minimal manual effort.
To enable, go to Agent Builder → Add Module (+) → Scheduling.
Key Points
- Flexible Template Selection: Choose Static Templates (Panel, Round Robin, Multi-event) or Dynamic Templates (Outbound only). Built-in validation flags missing template mappings before publish.
- Smart Fallback Handling: Configure a custom fallback message and an optional fallback email when no slots are available or a booking error occurs. Rich text and ATS variables are supported.
- Instruction-Based Scheduling Control: Define conditions in natural language to control when Scheduling is triggered. If the condition is true, scheduling proceeds; if false, the standard flow applies.
- Override Interview Hosts: Choose primary and secondary attendees, define roles (Host, Required, Optional), and apply priority-based availability logic.
- Override Meeting Details: Customise meeting title and description using ATS and conversation response variables.

Sense Scheduling
Room Scheduling
Release Date: 7th April 2026
What's New
Rooms are now fully integrated into the Sense scheduling workflow. Admins can connect, onboard, and manage meeting rooms directly within Scheduler Settings — no need to manage rooms separately in your calendar.
Key Points
- Admins can onboard rooms via Scheduler Settings → Meeting Rooms → Onboard. Rooms are listed with building, floor, and section details.
- In Templates: Add multiple rooms to a template. A room is auto-booked when a meeting is scheduled. If no room is available, the meeting is confirmed and the recruiter is notified.
- In Direct Scheduling: After selecting a date and time, available rooms appear in real time. If a room becomes unavailable at the last second, the meeting still goes through.
Important — Authentication: Calendar and room permissions require separate authentication flows. If an admin re-authenticates for rooms after connecting their calendar, it will override the calendar connection, causing loss of access to event booking. Simultaneous connection of both calendar and rooms by the same user is not currently supported.
Google-specific: Google admins must also manually subscribe to room resources in Google Calendar (Other calendars → Browse resources), in addition to granting room permissions.

Sense Workflows
Node-Level Frequency Limits
Release Date: 9th April 2026
What's New
Custom frequency limits can now be configured at the individual node level, not just at the workflow level. This gives users more granular control over communication cadence across different steps in a workflow.
Key Points
- Each node can have its own frequency configuration. For example, one node can send once per day and another once per week.
- This brings Workflows to parity with Journeys, ensuring a consistent experience across both automation platforms.
- Nodes previously set to "Skip Frequency Limit" have been automatically mapped to "Don't restrict and send multiple times." No action is required from users.
Impacted Sense Platform
- Workflows (J2) → Email / SMS Nodes → Frequency Limit Settings
Define Behavior When No Job Matches Are Found (J2 + Job Matching)
Release Date: 17th April 2026
What's New
Users can now control what happens in a workflow when no job matches are found for a candidate — preventing blank or irrelevant communications from being sent.
Key Points
- Skip Communication (Default): When no matches are found, communication is skipped entirely. This is the default behavior.
- Alternate Content: Configure an Alternate Text Block to send a different message when no matches are found — for example, redirecting candidates to a career site or providing local branch contact details.

Email Unsubscribe Tracking in Workflows
Release Date: 10th April 2026
What's New
Email unsubscribes from J2 Email Nodes are now tracked as ABT events. This gives recruiters and analysts visibility into which email campaigns and workflows are driving unsubscribes, enabling smarter targeting and better deliverability.
Key Points
- When a candidate unsubscribes from a J2 Email Node, an ABT event fires — capturing workflow ID, node ID, candidate ID, and timestamp.
- The unsubscribe event is integrated as a filter in J2 workflows, enabling users to segment audiences and exclude unsubscribed candidates from future sends.
- Analytics can now display unsubscribe count by workflow and node, unsubscribe rate as a percentage of emails delivered, and trends over time on the J2 Engagement and Deliverability Dashboard.
- Works across all ATS platforms (Bullhorn, Workable, Lever, and others).

- Workflows (J2) → Email Nodes

ATS Opt-Out Visibility in the Subscriptions Tab
Release Date: 7th April 2026
What's New
The Subscriptions tab in Candidate Details now clearly shows when a candidate is opted out of communications in the ATS. A prominent message indicates that any subscription changes will not take effect until the candidate opts back in.
Key Points
- Previously, subscription settings appeared editable even when an ATS opt-out was active, leading to confusion about why communications were not sending.
- The new message makes clear that ATS consent takes precedence over subscription settings.
- Improves transparency and reduces support queries around unexplained communication failures.

Sense Analytics
Redesigned Job Match Analytics Dashboard
Release Date: 8th April 2026
What's New
The Job Match Analytics Dashboard has been redesigned to provide deeper insights into how automated workflows and chatbots are driving job matching outcomes, with a new source-level breakdown and richer funnel metrics.
Key Points
- Source-Level Breakdown: Switch between Workflows and Chatbots views to analyze performance independently.
- Funnel Metrics: View Candidate Coverage (total candidates, with matches, without matches), Engagement (total clicks, unique jobs clicked), and Outcomes (applicants, client submissions, placements).
- Filters and Saved Views: Filter by workflow attributes or chatbot-specific details, apply time-based filters (e.g., last 30 days), and save views for quick access.
- Export and Scheduled Reports: Export data for offline analysis or schedule recurring reports to automate recurring insights.

Sense Lists
Notes on Lists
Release Date: 22nd April 2026
What's New
A dedicated Notes section is now available on every list record in Sense, giving recruiters and list administrators a lightweight way to leave context, share decisions, and communicate with teammates — directly on the list, without switching to Slack or email.
Key Points
- Add free-text notes (up to 2,000 characters) to any list you have access to. Notes display the author's name and a timestamp.
- Edit your own notes at any time. Edited notes display an "Edited" label with the edit timestamp.
- Only the note's author can delete it. Deletion requires a confirmation step.
- Toggle between "Oldest" and "Newest" sort order to navigate notes in the direction that suits your workflow.

List Timeline — Full Audit Trail for Lists
Release Date: 22nd April 2026
What's New
A complete audit trail is now available for Sense Lists, showing exactly who changed what, when, and how. This includes a per-list activity log and a global "All Activity" timeline view at the workspace level.
Key Points
- List Timeline Tab: Each list now has a dedicated "List Timeline" tab showing a chronological feed of all edits, creations, rule modifications, and status changes — with timestamps and user attribution.
- Color-Coded Rule Diffs: Expand a "Rules Modified" entry to see the exact before-and-after of every change. Deleted values appear in red with strikethrough, new values in green, and edited values are highlighted in blue.
- Date Range Filtering: Narrow the activity log to a specific window (e.g., "Last 2 Months") to focus on relevant changes.
Note: The List Audit feature is now available for all agencies.

Self-Serve ATS Mapping Interface
Release Date: 15th April 2026
What's New
Standard Entity Attribute Designation (EAD) and ATS field mapping is now fully self-serve. Customers can map and manage ATS fields directly within the Sense product, with no support request required.
Key Points
-
Visibility into Standard Designations: View all standard designations out of the box.
-
Entity-Based Navigation and Search: Browse mappings organized by entity (Candidate, Job, Lead, etc.) with visual indicators for unmapped fields. Use Global Search to find specific attributes across all entities.
-
Fallback Values: Set default values for missing or unmapped ATS fields to ensure consistent data flow and prevent matching errors.
-
Safe Saving and Locked Fields: Confirmation prompts protect against accidental changes. Critical fields are locked after saving (indicated by a lock icon) and require Support approval to edit.
- Inline Variable Picker: Use the {} variable picker to instantly grab mapped variables for templates, workflows, and campaigns.

Revamped Variable Page
Release Date: 2nd April 2026
What's New
The Variables interface has been relocated from the Settings page to the Fields page, bringing variable configuration directly to where users already work with field data. This creates a unified, self-serve experience for managing and understanding field variables.
Key Points
-
Centralized Hub: Manage variable configurations in the same place you work with field data — no more back-and-forth with the Settings menu.
-
Enhanced "View Details": Clicking "View Details" on any field now reveals Data Profiles (non-empty sample values and data types), AI Context (AI-generated field descriptions and classifications — Simple vs. Derived), and Usage Intelligence (which products and workflows use each variable).

Sense Voice AI
Voice AI NWB Transcript Link
Release Date: 22nd April 2026
What's New
Transcript links (instead of full transcript text) from Voice workflows can now be written into ATS via NWB. This avoids ATS note-length limits that can truncate long transcripts, while still giving recruiters full visibility.
Key Points
- The NWB link opens a full conversation detail view in Sense, including candidate context (name, phone, email), call details, recording access, and transcript.
- Access is restricted to signed-in Sense users — the link is not publicly accessible.
- If the Chrome Extension (v1.45.0 or later) is installed and the Agency Config is enabled, hovering over the NWB link in your ATS shows a button that opens the conversation detail page in the extension — right within your ATS. Otherwise, the link opens in the browser.
Note: Chrome Extension v1.45.0 or later is required for in-ATS extension navigation.

Release Date: 8th April 2026 (Phased Rollout)
What's New
Sense Mobile v4.9.7 is now rolling out on iOS and Android with an improved SSO login flow and messaging limits.
Key Points
- Revamped SSO Login Flow: Users now enter their email address instead of a domain URL. The app surfaces all SSO-enabled agencies linked to that email — so users no longer need to know or remember their agency domain.
- Message character limit capped at 1,500 characters.
- Broadcast character limit capped at 720 characters.
- Enhancements to broadcast segment capping.
