Agent Builder
Voicemail Message Controls in Agent Builder
Release Date: 25th September 2026
What's New
Voicemail messages are now limited to 200 characters by default, with a live character counter. The voicemail field picker supports only ATS-mapped fields.
Key Points
- Supported fields: First name, Last name, Full name, Job Title, Job ID.
- Voicemail character counting differs from Screening and Data Collection: each inserted variable counts as 1 character, regardless of the value resolved at call time.
Why it matters: Keeps voicemails short, relevant, and natural, using only supported ATS-mapped fields.
Voice AI
Call Direction in Voiceflows Dashboard
Release Date: 23rd September 2026
What's New
A Call Direction dropdown in the Voiceflows Dashboard now shows who initiated each call and where it falls in the call sequence.
Key Points
- Original Call (Outbound): The first call initiated by Sense.
- Retry 1, 2, 3... (Outbound) Later calls initiated by Sense after the original call.
- Incoming Call (Inbound): The call initiated by the candidate.
Why it matters: Better visibility into outbound calls, retries, and inbound calls. Previously, there was no clear way to distinguish them.
AI Receptionist
Clearer Data Collection Question Management
Release Date: 9th September 2026
What's New
Question editing is now explicit. You edit one question at a time, and changes save only when you click Save.
Key Points
- Questions display as a read-only list; open one at a time to edit.
- Module-level Save/Discard is paused while a single question is being edited.
- Deleting a question saves immediately and shows a confirmation toast.
- An X/30 counter shows questions added against the limit, with a warning at the 16th question because longer question sets can increase call drop-off.
Why it matters: Prevents accidental edits and shows how close you are to the question limit. Existing agents and questions are unchanged. Behavior change to flag with customers: question edits must now be saved explicitly; nothing auto-saves as you type.
Chatbot
Multilingual Conversation Transcripts (NWB) to ATS
Release Date: September 10, 2026
What's New
Chatbot Note Writeback (NWB) now sends both the original-language transcript and the English-translated transcript to the ATS.
Key Points
- Previously, only the English-translated transcript was sent to the ATS.
- This update applies to both Legacy and LLM Chatbots.
Why it matters: Recruiters can review candidates’ original spoken-language responses directly in the ATS, providing more context for multilingual conversations and consistent behavior across Voice and LLM Chatbot.
Workflows
Node-Level Blackout Settings
Release Date: 9th September 2026
What's New
Blackout can now be configured per node, not just at the workflow level.
Key Points
- Each node defaults to the workflow-level setting unless a custom blackout is set.
- Any node can override the workflow default with a custom blackout window, or disable blackout entirely.
- Existing fallback options (day before / day after / exit the recipient) remain available at node level.
- Follows the same interaction pattern as node-level frequency settings.
- Self-serve: open the blackout configuration on a node and choose Inherit workflow blackout, a custom window, or disable.
Why it matters: Tailor blackout rules per node without changing the whole workflow. Useful for multi-bot hiring workflows (end-to-end hiring/AIR), different communication types, and candidate vs. recruiter communications.
Job Descriptions in Matched Job Emails (Card Layout)
Release Date: 22nd September 2026
What's New
Job Match emails can now include the job description through a new Card layout (Display as → Card).
Key Points
- Each card shows the job title with the Apply link, up to three attribute fields of your choice (for example Pay Rate, Shifts, Worksite, Certifications, Job ID), and the job description automatically summarised to 50–75 words.
- New Preview tab: the widget splits into Configuration and Preview, and Preview renders real matched jobs for a chosen candidate in the configured layout.
- Table columns can now be reordered by dragging.
- Card layout is email only. SMS continues to send plain text.
- At least one of the three middle fields is required, and a field already on the card cannot be picked twice. Fields a job has no value for are skipped.
Why it matters: Candidates can see what the role is before deciding to apply, instead of scanning a row of attribute values.
Surveys
Workflow-Linked Survey Questions Protected from Edits and Deletions
Release Date: 30th September 2026
What's New
Editing or deleting a survey question used by an inactive workflow no longer silently breaks that workflow.
Key Points
- If a survey is attached to an inactive workflow and a question is referenced there, the question cannot be deleted, its options cannot be edited, and its option type cannot be changed.
- The question text can still be edited.
- Users can see every workflow using the survey question, along with the specific nodes that reference it.
- Locked questions appear locked. To change one, remove its reference in the workflow first, then edit the survey.
Why it matters: Prevents silent workflow breakage caused by survey edits.
First Question Preview in Email
Release Date: 11th September 2026
What's New
When a survey is added to an Email node, the first survey question can be displayed directly in the email body.
Key Points
- Renders by question type: NPS, rating scale, radio buttons, or checkboxes.
- Only the first question can be previewed.
- Clicking the previewed question opens the full survey in a new tab. It does not submit an answer from the email.
- Self-serve: when configuring a survey in an Email node, select First Question Preview, then use the email preview to check how it renders.
- Support article to be provided.
Why it matters: Lowers the barrier to responding by putting the question front and centre in the email.
Manage Survey Writebacks Attached to Active Workflows
Release Date: 2nd September 2026
What's New
You can now add or update Field Writebacks (FWBs) and Note Writebacks (NWBs) within surveys even after they are attached to an active workflow.
Key Points
Changes apply only to new survey responses received after the change. Existing responses are not updated retroactively.
Why it matters: Respond to process changes faster, avoid workflow downtime, protect historical data integrity, and iterate on a live workflow without a full rebuild.
Messaging & Templates
Automatic Language Detection for Templates
Release Date: 24th September 2026
What's New
When creating an SMS or WhatsApp template (and editing an SMS template), Sense detects the language from the template body and pre-fills it.
Key Points
- Agents can confirm or change the detected language before saving.
- Very short bodies, or bodies made up mostly of dynamic fields (like {{first_name}}), may not have enough text to detect; the language is left blank rather than guessed.
- WhatsApp templates cannot be edited after creation (existing behavior), so detection applies only at creation.
Why it matters: Templates carry an accurate language automatically, so language-based filtering and reporting are reliable. Previously, SMS templates had no language tag, and WhatsApp defaulted to a manually chosen (often wrong) language.
Broadcast Segment Capping
Release Date: 9th September 2026
What's New
Agencies can see broadcast segment usage against their contracted allocation and get alerts before reaching the limit.
Key Points
- Usage vs. contracted allocation, with consumption history, at agency level (allocation sourced from Salesforce).
- Automatic email alerts at 50%, 80%, and 100%, with the option to add more recipients from the dashboard.
- Hard cap at 110%: broadcast sending pauses with a 'sending paused' notice until segments are topped up. Past 100%, alerts repeat daily.
- Covers broadcast messages only for now.
Why it matters: No surprise overages and no unexpected stop in sending.
Platform & Data
ATS Field Mapping — Intelligent Field Picker
Release Date: 11th September 2026
What's New
The 'Mapping of your ATS field' screen now uses Sense's intelligent field picker for both the read field and the writeback field.
Key Points
- Before picking, you see a plain description, fill rate, and most-common values, plus one search across Sense, ATS, and writeback fields.
- Existing mappings are unchanged. Read and writeback map separately, per entity (Candidate, Job, Placement, Appointment, and more).
Why it matters: Map the right field the first time, with real usage data in view, and avoid mis-mappings that feed bad data into workflows, templates, and candidate matching.
Ask Sense IQ Whether a Field Exists and Sync It If It Doesn't
Release Date: 11th September 2026
What's New
Ask Sense IQ in plain language whether a field exists in Sense and whether it holds real data.
Key Points
- For existing fields, Sense IQ shows whether the field is synced or calculated (and what it is built from), its fill rate, sample values, and where it is used across lists and workflows.
- If the field does not exist, Sense IQ offers a one-click Sync a new field.
- 'Not found' means not synced into Sense yet, not that the ATS lacks it.
- Available in Sense IQ ('Ask me anything' assistant) on the Dashboard.
Why it matters: Anyone can confirm in seconds whether a field exists and how it behaves, and close the gap by syncing it.
CRM
Previous Offer Letters on the Candidate Profile
Release Date: 8th September 2026
What's New
Recruiters can see every offer letter a candidate has received in the past, directly from the candidate profile.
Key Points
- New Previous Offer Letters section below Linked Jobs, showing job name, offer created date, and offer status.
- One-click View offer letter opens any past offer.
- Permission-based: you only see an offer letter if you have access to both the job and the candidate.
Why it matters: Full context on a candidate's offer history before re-engaging them or creating a new offer.
