Sense CRM
Tasks, Reminders, and Notifications
Release Date: 1st June 2026
What’s New
Sense CRM now supports structured task management with due dates, reminders, and notifications — replacing passive tagging with a time-bound, accountable system for recruiters, supervisors, and coordinators.
Key Points
- System-Generated Tasks: CRM automatically creates tasks when a recruiter needs to take action — for example, Schedule Interview or Send Assessment. These tasks come with due dates and reminders so nothing falls through the cracks.
- User-Created Tasks: Recruiters can create their own tasks from anywhere in the platform and attach candidate or job context. The assignee defaults to the task creator but can be delegated to any teammate.
- Tasks Dashboard: A centralised view of all overdue, upcoming, and completed tasks across your team.
- Notification Integration: Task reminders surface in the notification feed with inline actions — mark complete, snooze, or deep-link directly to the task.
Impacted Sense Platform
- CRM → Tasks Dashboard
- CRM → Notifications

Key Points

Sense Scheduling
Requesting More Availability — Phase 2
Release Date: 2nd June 2026
What’s New
Requesting More Availability has been significantly expanded. Instead of hitting a dead end when availability doesn’t align, candidates can now proactively propose alternate times, and recruiters get a dedicated workflow to review and schedule from those requests.
Key Points
- Configurable Availability Request: Recruiters can configure how much availability candidates should provide when proposing alternate times — specifying the total number of hours and the spread across a number of dates.
- Propose Time Slots: When candidates reach the final available scheduling window and cannot find a suitable slot, they see a “Propose Time Slots” option. Candidates can submit their preferred availability directly from the scheduling experience.
- Duplicate Submission Prevention: If a candidate proposes slots that already exist in the original availability shared with them, they will be prompted to schedule from those existing available slots instead.
- New Recruiter Workflow: Once a candidate submits a request, the template host receives a notification in Sense. Recruiters can access requests via Events → View Requests or directly from the notification. For each request, recruiters can review proposed availability, filter requests by template, schedule using one of the candidate’s proposed slots, replace unavailable interviewers with alternatives, or discard the request.
- Submission Limit: Candidates can submit availability requests only once every 24 hours when using the same email address.
- Meeting Notifications: Once a recruiter schedules a meeting from a request, all standard meeting notifications are sent to the relevant participants.
Note: Discarding a request closes it without notifying the candidate. If scheduling is still desired later, the candidate will need to schedule again using the template link. This feature is currently available in Scheduler only. Chatbot support will be released separately.

Sort Controls for Job Match in Workflows
Release Date: 1st June 2026
What’s New
Admins can now control which matched jobs surface first when sending job matches to candidates, using a new Sort by dropdown in the Job Match Display Options.
Key Points
- A new Sort by dropdown has been added in the Job Match → Display Options card with three options: Relevance (default), Pay Rate (Highest to Lowest), and Distance (Closest to Farthest).
- The Distance option is only available when a City, Zip, or Distance filter rule is configured.
- Supported in Email and SMS nodes.
- Sort selection persists — reopening the node later shows the previously saved choice (Email).
Note: No action is required from customers. Existing workflows continue to use Relevance ordering until an admin opts in.
Impacted Sense Platform
- Workflows (J2) → Job Match → Display Options
Update ATS Record Node — Composite Field Updates
Release Date: 18th June 2026
What’s New
The Update ATS Record node has been enhanced to support updating multiple related ATS fields within a single node. Previously, each ATS field update required its own dedicated node, even when the fields were logically connected.
Key Points
- Fields that share the same parent can now be configured together in a single Update ATS Record node.
- This resolves the majority of use cases where writeback fields were previously unavailable because they required multiple related ATS fields to be submitted together.
- For example, workflows that require application status changes and rejection reasons to be submitted simultaneously can now be configured in one node instead of multiple.
- Reduces workflow complexity and the number of nodes required for field update configurations.
Impacted Sense Platform
- Workflows (J2) → Update ATS Record Node
Note Writeback Configuration Directly within Survey
Release Date: 19th June 2026
What’s New
Users can now configure Note Writeback (NWB) directly within the Survey itself, without needing to add separate Paths or Write ATS Note nodes in the workflow. Once the survey is completed, responses are automatically written back as an ATS note.
Key Points
- Configure Note Writeback Directly within Survey: Survey responses are automatically written back as an ATS note once the survey is completed. No additional Workflow Paths or Write ATS Note nodes are required.
- Writeback Independent of Workflow State: Note Writeback will execute even if the workflow is deactivated or the candidate exits the list attached to the workflow. As long as the survey is completed, the configured Note Writeback will execute.
- Simplifies workflow design by reducing dependency on workflow nodes and improving maintainability.
Note: This enhancement applies only to completed survey responses. Partial survey responses will not trigger Note Writeback. For customers who already have Paths or Write ATS Note (NWB) nodes configured for survey-based note writebacks, it is recommended to remove those configurations before enabling Survey-level NWB to avoid duplicate note writeback calls.
Impacted Sense Platform
- Workflows (J2) → Survey Node → Note Writeback Configuration
Enhanced Link Tracking and UTM Management
Release Date: 24th June 2026
What’s New
A more flexible and transparent link tracking experience is now available, giving customers control over campaign attribution and analytics. UTM parameters can be configured at the Workflow, Node, and Global levels.
Key Points
- Configurable UTM Parameters: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and utm_term can now be configured at the Workflow level and the Node level. These settings can also be configured from the Global Settings page. Currently supported for Email and SMS nodes.
- Custom Tracking Parameters: Users can define and append additional custom tracking parameters beyond the standard UTM fields to support their own reporting and attribution needs.
- Priority Order: UTM configurations are applied in the following order: (1) Node-level UTM settings, (2) Workflow-level UTM settings, (3) Global-level UTM settings. If no configuration is found at a given level, the system checks the next level down.
- Prevents automatic appending of tracking parameters when none have been explicitly configured, preserving existing campaign URLs and attribution strategies.

- Workflows (J2) → Email and SMS Nodes → UTM Settings
- Configuration → Global Settings → UTM Configuration
Sense Voice AI
Updated Labels for Voice Nodes in Workflows
Release Date: 10th June 2026
What’s New
Voice node labels in Workflows have been updated to better reflect the current state of Sense Voice capabilities and to make it easier for users to distinguish between the new and legacy experiences.
Key Points
- Voiceflows (Beta) → Voiceflows: The new Voice node is now generally available to all customers and the Beta designation has been removed.
- Voiceflows → Voiceflows (Legacy): The older Voice node has been renamed to Voiceflows (Legacy) to clearly distinguish it from the newer experience.
Note: This is a label-only change. Existing workflows will continue to function as expected. Voiceflows (Legacy) is planned for future deprecation. Sense recommends using Voiceflows for all new workflow implementations.
Voice Transcripts in Workflows — Transcript and Transcript Link as Separate Variables
Release Date: 22nd June 2026
What’s New
Recruiters now have independent control over whether to write a full transcript or a transcript link to the ATS from communication nodes in Workflows. A new transcript link variable has been introduced in the variable picker, separate from the existing transcript variable.
Key Points
- New Variable in Variable Picker: A new transcript link variable is now available in the variable picker within Email, SMS, and NWB nodes in Workflows. Recruiters can now independently choose between transcript and transcript link — one no longer overrides the other.
- The transcript link opens the full conversation detail page in Sense, where recruiters can view candidate details (name, phone, email), access call details, listen to the call recording, view the complete transcript, and download the transcript.
- Addresses ATS note-length limitations — some ATS platforms enforce character limits on notes, causing longer transcripts to be truncated. Using a transcript link ensures recruiters always have access to the complete conversation.
- Addresses transcript formatting issues — some ATS platforms do not support HTML or rich text. Opening the transcript in Sense provides a consistent, optimized viewing experience.
Impacted Sense Platform
- Workflows (J2) → Email, SMS, and NWB Nodes → Variable Picker
- Voice AI → NWB → Agency Config

AI Lister — Build and Edit Lists from Sense IQ
Release Date: 25th June 2026
What’s New
Creating a list no longer means hunting through filters and field names. Open Sense IQ, say “Help me create a List!”, and AI Lister walks you through it — pick the record type, describe your criteria in plain language, and submit.
Key Points
- Create a List on Any EMS Record Type: Choose from any entity in your EMS — Candidate, Job, Job Submission, Placement, Appointment, Client Company, Client Company Employee, Lead, Opportunity, Internal Employee, Certification, Task, and Sense entities like Sense Candidate Match, Sense Candidate Lead, and Sense AI Applicant.
- Available Anywhere via Sense IQ: AI Lister is accessible from any page in Sense via the Sense IQ panel — no need to navigate to a separate builder.
- Describe Your Filter in Plain Language: After choosing a record type, describe what you want in natural language (e.g., “candidates who do not have a note for the last 180 days”). AI Lister translates your intent into the correct filter criteria.
- Modify Existing Lists: Open an existing list in AI Lister and refine it conversationally — add conditions, narrow criteria, or swap a value without rebuilding from scratch.
- Smart Variable Suggestions: As you describe your criteria, AI Lister suggests the matching variables and fields — so you don’t need to know exact EMS field names.

- Sense IQ → AI Lister
Sense Messaging
Messaging Delivery Visibility
Release Date: 5th June 2026
What’s New
Message delivery visibility has been improved by surfacing the actual reason a message failed, rather than showing a generic Failed status. A unified, provider-agnostic Sense Delivery Status Code framework now provides a consistent experience across all messaging providers, including Twilio, Bandwidth, and Infobip.
Key Points
-
Human-Readable Failure Reasons: Agents can now see a clear, human-readable failure reason directly in the UI and API, regardless of the underlying messaging provider.
- Examples of delivery failure reasons include: recipient device offline, recipient is a landline, message rejected as spam, and WhatsApp 24-hour session window closed.
- Previously, the UI only displayed statuses such as Failed or Filtered, making it difficult for agents to understand why a message was not delivered.
- Improves troubleshooting and provides greater transparency into message delivery outcomes across all messaging providers.
Impacted Sense Platform
- Messaging → Message Delivery Status
Sense Chrome Extension
Activity Page Now Available in the Chrome Extension
Release Date: 17th June 2026
What’s New
The Activity page is now available inside the Sense Chrome Extension and has been added to the extension side navigation.
Key Points
- Side Navigation Entry: “Activity” now appears in the extension side nav, below Jobs. It is shown when the Activity / Conversations tab is enabled.
- Responsive Layout: The page fits the narrow extension width. The three table filters (events, entity, date range) collapse into a single “Filters” button within the extension — they remain inline on the web version.
- Links Open in Web: Clicking a candidate name in the extension opens their profile in a new web tab (full web app) instead of navigating inside the extension panel.
Note: This update only affects the Chrome Extension experience. There is no change to the web version.

Mobile App — 90% Faster Launch Time
Release Date: June 2026
What’s New
The Sense mobile app now opens approximately 90% faster than before, thanks to improvements in how the app loads at startup.
Key Points
- Heavy startup tasks that were previously executed all at once on app launch have been rearranged to load only when needed, significantly reducing initial load time.
- The improvement is noticeable immediately on launch, even without visible interface changes.
Impacted Sense Platform
