Sense Agent Builder
Improvements to Instructions Handling and Voice Test Call Experience
Release Date: 18th May 2026
What’s New
Two improvements have been made to Agent Builder to improve stability, usability, and the overall editing experience.
Key Points
-
Instruction Character Limit (6,000 Characters): A 6,000 character limit has been added to the Instructions field in Agent Builder. Users will not be able to type beyond the limit. If content longer than 6,000 characters is pasted, it will automatically be truncated to fit within the limit. This prevents excessively large instruction inputs which could otherwise lead to hallucinations and unexpected behaviour.
-
Enhanced Voice Test Call Loading Experience: The Voice Test Call experience now shows a new loading animation and progressive status messages while the test call is being prepared. This improves perceived responsiveness during call initialisation and creates a smoother, more predictable experience.

Sequential Interviews — Coordinator Controls and Cancellation
Release Date: 6th May 2026
What’s New
Sequential Interviews have been enhanced with better control and flexibility around coordination and cancellations.
Key Points
- Multiple Meeting Coordinators: You can now add multiple coordinators to a single sequential interview template. Newly added coordinators will automatically receive all details of upcoming scheduled interviews.
- Controlled Cancellation Access: Only candidates and meeting coordinators can cancel the sequential interviews until the cancellation notice for the last round has passed. Interviewers cannot cancel these meetings.
- Cancellation Behaviour: Sequential interviews can be cancelled even if some rounds are already in progress, provided the last round’s cancellation notice has not passed. Cancelling will terminate all upcoming rounds in the sequence.
- Manager’s Dashboard: Sequential interviews cannot be cancelled from the Manager’s Dashboard except if it is the meeting coordinator taking the action.

Email Digest in Workflows
Release Date: 4th May 2026
What’s New
Email Digest is now available in Workflows, enabling teams to receive automated, structured summaries of Lists directly via email. Users can define rules within Lists to dynamically generate datasets (e.g., candidates, jobs, client contacts) and deliver those insights via workflows — eliminating the need for manual exports and reporting.
Additionally, Email Digest can now be configured on any List entity, a capability that was not possible in Journeys.
Key Points
- Email Digest Block in Workflows: Users can now add an Email Digest block within Email nodes to send structured, tabular summaries of Lists. Available exclusively for workflows with Internal Employee as the anchor entity. Supports sending digests for any List entity (e.g., Candidates, Jobs, Client Contacts, etc.).
- Recipient-Based Personalization via Relationship Filtering: Email digests can now be personalised for each recipient based on their relationship to the data. Choose between Full List (all recipients receive the same dataset) or Filter by Recipient Relationship (each recipient receives only the records relevant to them, based on ATS mappings such as Recruiter Owner or Account Manager).
- Structured and Scalable Digest Experience: Configure up to 5 columns to define the data shown. Display up to 50 records inline in the email. A CSV download of the full dataset is automatically provided when records exceed the inline limit. Preview the digest before activation.
- Automated and Scheduled Delivery: Configure digest delivery using workflow scheduling (daily, weekly, or custom timing) to ensure timely visibility into critical events like assignment expirations, upcoming starts, or pipeline changes.

Graceful Handling of Blank Email Content in J2 Emails
Release Date: 11th May 2026
What’s New
The system now intelligently handles blank or incomplete J2 email content, helping prevent accidental saving of emails with no meaningful body content.
Key Points
- Previously, users could save emails even when the email body had no readable text content. Emails containing only images, icons, or links could still be saved, potentially resulting in blank or incomplete communications being sent to recipients.
- Three behaviour states now apply based on email content:
- Text content present: Save is allowed.
- Images present but no text: A soft warning is shown with Cancel and Save options.
- No images and no text: Save is blocked entirely.
Note: The Footer section (unsubscribe/manage subscription content) is excluded from validation checks. Everything else — including email body text, company website text, branding content, and social media content — is treated as part of the Email Body.

Workflow Timeline Debugger
Release Date: 18th May 2026
What’s New
The Workflow Timeline Debugger provides users with detailed, near real-time visibility into how records progress through workflows. This replaces the need to manually investigate workflow execution through Canvas Analytics.
Key Points
- End-to-End Workflow Execution Timeline: Users can now view a complete timeline of a record’s journey within a workflow, including: workflow trigger time, node entry and execution timestamps, paths followed during execution, which path the record qualified for, which path or node the record is currently waiting on, field values used during node/path evaluation, and workflow activation and deactivation events.
- Near Real-Time Debugging Visibility: Workflow Timeline Debugger updates are available in near real-time, allowing users to investigate workflow behaviour quickly without significant delay.
- Failure and Skip Visibility: The debugger clearly highlights communication failures and skipped events, including scenarios such as invalid phone number, invalid email address, email skipped, and other execution-level failures. This makes troubleshooting significantly faster and more transparent.
- Separate Tracking for Multiple Entries: If the same record enters a workflow multiple times, the debugger separately tracks each workflow entry, displays the entry timestamp for each occurrence, and maintains independent activity history per entry. This provides much clearer visibility into repeat workflow executions.

Field Writeback Configuration Directly within Survey
Release Date: 19th May 2026
What’s New
Survey capabilities have been enhanced by allowing users to configure Field Writeback (FWB) directly within the Survey itself, simplifying workflow design and reducing dependency on workflow-level configurations.
Key Points
-
Configure Field Writeback Directly within Survey: Users can now map Survey responses directly to ATS fields from within the Survey configuration itself. Once the survey is completed, responses are automatically written back to configured ATS fields. No additional Workflow Paths or Update Info nodes are required.
-
Writeback Independent of Workflow State: Field Writeback execution is now independent of workflow execution. Writeback will still happen even if the workflow is deactivated or the candidate exits the list attached to the workflow. As long as the survey is completed, the configured field writebacks will execute.
Note: This enhancement is applicable only for completed survey responses. Partial survey responses will not trigger Field Writeback. For customers migrating from Journeys to Workflows who already have Paths or Update Info nodes configured for survey-based writebacks, it is recommended to remove those existing configurations before enabling Survey-level FWB to avoid duplicate writeback calls.

Email DNS Settings v2 — Proactive Deliverability Controls
Release Date: 28th May 2026
What’s New
Three improvements have been made to the Email DNS Settings page that give agencies proactive visibility into deliverability — covering verification drift, deny-listed recipients, and dedicated IP assignment — all in one place.
Key Points
-
Proactive DNS Re-Verification and Alerts: A background job now re-verifies every previously-verified domain on a rolling 6-hour cadence. When a domain falls out of verification: a red alert banner appears at the top of Configuration → DNS Settings → Email DNS V2 naming the affected domain(s); the domain card flips to an “Unverified” badge with a per-record indicator on the specific record that is missing or changed; a Re-verify now button triggers an immediate on-demand check; agency admins receive an email with the affected domain, the records to fix, and a deep link back to the settings page; and every status change is logged for audit purposes.
-
Deny List Management: A new Deny List Management tab lets admins look up any email address against the platform-wide deny list directly from the UI. Search by email address — results show whether the recipient is on the deny list and when it was added. If found, admins can request removal to restore email delivery with one click. All removals are logged for audit purposes (who removed, when, and which address).
- Dedicated IP Visibility Widget: A new widget in the top-right of the Email DNS settings header shows the agency’s assigned dedicated IP(s). Agencies with dedicated IPs get a Copy all IP button. The widget is hidden entirely for agencies on shared IPs. Dedicated IPs are auto-assigned at agency creation — no manual provisioning step is required.
Note: This release covers Workflows DNS only — Journeys alerting is out of scope. Dedicated IPs cannot be requested or changed from the UI (display only).

Sense Voice AI
Voice AI Opt-Out
Release Date: 9th May 2026
What’s New
Voice AI now detects and enforces opt-out for Voice, blocking all future outreach automatically. Two opt-out paths are supported: verbal opt-out during a call, and ATS-based do-not-contact status.
Key Points
- Opt-Out by Voice: When a candidate verbally signals they want to stop receiving calls (e.g., “stop calling me” or “I want to opt out”), Voice AI automatically cancels all active conversations on that number and blocks all future voice outreach.
- Opt-Out from ATS: When a candidate’s do-not-contact status is updated directly in the ATS, that change is reflected immediately. No call or SMS is initiated if the candidate is flagged as opted out — the conversation is automatically marked as skipped.
- This eliminates the risk of contacting a candidate who has already withdrawn consent and reduces compliance risk for agencies without requiring any manual recruiter action.
Note: Opt-out detection applies to new conversations only. Conversations that took place before this release have not been backfilled for opt-out detection.

Restricted Messaging Access for Agents
Release Date: 15th May 2026
What’s New
Admins can now assign agents a Restricted messaging access mode via their security role. A restricted agent only sees what is directly relevant to them, improving privacy between agents sharing an inbox.
Key Points
- Inbox Ownership: Restricted agents only see themselves listed as an owner on a thread.
- Read Receipts: Restricted agents only see their own read status, not their teammates’.
- Notifications: Restricted agents only get notified on a reply if they were the one who last reached out on that thread.
- Unread Count: The unread badge only increments for threads where the restricted agent has actually sent or received a message before. A thread they have never touched stays quiet.
-
Context Events: Hidden entirely for restricted agents.
Note: This is opt-in via security role configuration. No existing agents or customers are affected unless an admin explicitly assigns the Restricted access mode.
