A Touchpoint is a single outbound message or action. Touchpoints are generally scheduled relative to important dates in a consultant's life cycle.
Create a touchpoint
- Click the Journeys icon from the Left Sidebar.

Click the Journey you would like to add a touchpoint to (if a journey has yet to be created, click Add New Journey.)

Click “Message Touchpoint”.
- Select from the available type of touchpoint options:
Selected type of touchpoint will be highlighted as it is highlighted in the above image is Email - Basic Editor.
- SMS Basic: You can create basic SMS containing messages to the recipient.
- SMS Survey: You can create a Survey kind of SMS.
- Drag and Drop Editor: You can build an email from scratch with a custom layout. Customize your custom email with a variety of email editing tools
- Email - Basic Editor: You can create a simple email, including surveys.
- SMS - Recruiting chatbot: You can create a Chatbot driven conversational SMS
- Email - Recruiting chatbot: You can create an email, including chatbots.
- Duplicate Touchpoint: duplicate from an existing touchpoint from other journeys.
- Once you’ve selected your record type, complete or modify the delivery fields and touchpoint modules.
- Click the Scheduling tab and schedule the touchpoint accordingly.
- Review the touchpoint
- When finished, select Save in the upper-right corner of the event page
- Finally, test the touchpoint or preview the variables to confirm everything is displaying as expected.
Edit a touchpoint
- Click the Journeys icon from the Left Sidebar.
- Click the journey that holds the touchpoint to be modified.
- Select the touchpoint.
- Make any modifications.
- Select Save in the lower right of the touchpoint page. Modifications can be canceled anytime by selecting Cancel.
NOTE: Touchpoints can only be modified when their Journey is Inactive.
Delete a touchpoint:
- Click the Journeys icon from the Left Sidebar.
- Click the journey that holds the touchpoint to be deleted.
- Select the touchpoint.
- Click Delete in the lower left.
- When prompted, click Delete it. Once deleted, all touchpoint modules and scheduling information will be lost. Any data collected so far will remain available in Analytics.
