Variables in Touchpoint Content:
Click on “Add New Variable”
In the Variable Picker, you will:
- See an explanation of which field(s) the variable is mapped to in your ATS
- Have the option to sort and filter from the top record/entity type and drill down to the variable you’re looking for
- Be able to view variables categorized by the record/entity type they are associated with
Once you’ve added your variables to your touchpoint, you can right-click on them to view more information about your specific variable and where it’s mapped back to in your ATS:
Sender & Scheduling Options:
In the variable selection dropdown, you will:
- Be able to view variables categorized by the record/entity type they are associated with.
- See an explanation of which field(s) the variable is mapped to in your ATS
In the Basic tab of touchpoint (SMS/Email), there is an option to add recipient email/phone number, that is “Sent to”. Here we can use variables to add the Email/phone number of the recipient. Here all the variables are available, which are synced with ATS.
In the same way in Scheduling, Send on date Value option is also showing variables that are synced with ATS.
We have "Global variables" options, which can not be used in the “Sent to” option. But can be used in CC or for alert emails.
