Data Enrichment with Sense
With Sense’s new data enrichment tool, it's easier than ever to clear out old information and keep your ATS fields maintained and up-to-date. Using this tool, new candidate data can be written back to synced ATS fields - ensuring you never have out-of-date information in your ATS again.
Creating a Writeback Question
Selecting the Basic Editor will allow you to build survey-like questions that will update the fields in your ATS with responded information. Select Insert question
Tying your responses to ATS fields
Your question selection will determine what types of ATS fields you can sync back to:
Question Type: This is the type of question you’ll be distributing, and will limit the type of fields that responses sync within your ATS (e.g. text responses can only get written back to text fields, rating scales to number input fields etc.)
Save response to an ATS Field: This switch will allow you to save the recipient’s response back to your ATS - Make sure you have this turned on if you want to enable data enrichment!
Show the recipient this field’s current value: This will display the current value of the recipient’s field.
Multiple Choice Questions: You can rename and enable/disable which of your ATS'es dropdown options appear via Sense Surveys. We recommend creating a new journey if you’re changing the names/options of multiple choice questions after a journey is activated to maintain consistent analytics.
Allow recipient to select more than one option: Recipients also have the ability to select more than one option from a list
Date Questions: Your survey recipients can quickly and easily make changes to upcoming dates themselves
Responses:
For example: When sending recipients a message asking to update or confirm their phone number, their form will include what is currently listed in your ATS (meaning, if it’s accurate, they won’t need to type it in again!)
Updates & Analytics:
In analytics, updated fields and information will get logged as Responses:
You can click on the Responded link to view how the field and data have been updated:
And of course, the data will be updated in your ATS!
