Performance and Functionality Enhancements
Activity Tab Load Time Optimization
Previous behavior: The "Activity" tab used to take around a minute to load, and in some cases, up to 5–6 minutes, depending on data complexity.
Improvement: The tab now loads within 10–15 seconds for all nodes, regardless of data volume or complexity. This significantly enhances overall user experience and efficiency.
Advanced Search for Non-Person Entities
Previous behavior: Search was mainly limited to candidate-based queries.
Improvement: A new two-level type-ahead search has been introduced for non-person entity types, such as placement and submittal.
- How it works: Users first select an entity type (e.g., submittal). Once selected, a second drop-down appears to further refine the search (e.g., searching by a specific candidate within a submittal number like "13").
- Scope: This enhancement applies only to non-person entities. It does not apply to "candidate," "intern," "employee," or "contact" types.
Support for Static Names and Emails
Previous behavior: Static names and emails were not supported.
New capability: The system now supports static names and emails.
Behavior: When emails are sent to static recipients, the candidate name is displayed as "static" (used as a keyword), and the same email address is shown across all entries, resulting in consistent, identical rows.
Chatbot
Improved SMS Chatbot Message Routing
We’ve introduced a major enhancement to SMS chatbot delivery: messages are now routed region-specifically based on the candidate’s phone number.
The system now automatically checks the country code in the candidate’s phone number and selects the most relevant “from” number:
🇦🇺 Candidates with Australian numbers (+61) receive messages from Australian chatbot numbers.
🇺🇸 Candidates with US numbers (+1) receive messages from US chatbot numbers.
Previously, outbound SMS messages could be sent from any chatbot number linked to the agency, regardless of the recipient’s location. With this update, the system dynamically selects the appropriate regional number, ensuring better deliverability and a more localized experience.
Enable SMS Sending From Same Country Code as Recipient
When this feature is enabled:
The system automatically selects a chatbot number that matches the recipient’s country code.
If a recipient’s number does not include a country code, it defaults to the agency’s
default_phone_countryconfiguration.
UTM Tracking Support for Bots
We’re excited to introduce URL parameter support in Sourcing Bots and Application Bots, making chatbot interactions more personalized and trackable through UTM and custom URL parameters.
You can now:
Add Custom Parameters
Configure up to 10 string-type URL parameters (e.g., utm_source, campaign_id, or other custom values) directly in your bot settings.
Capture Parameters from URLs
The bot automatically captures parameters when candidates visit URLs like:
https://yourdomain.com/?utm_source=linkedin&campaign_id=spring
Use Parameters in Bot Logic
Leverage these parameters to personalize the chatbot experience:
Condition nodes: Use parameters (under the var category) to control branching logic.
Disposition nodes: A dedicated picker allows you to use parameters for ATS tagging and metadata.
Analytics & Tracking
All captured parameters are logged as part of the session metadata, enabling more detailed tracking and reporting.
Messaging
Messaging Link Shortening
Recruiters often share long URLs to job boards or career sites, which can clutter messages and reduce click-through rates. To improve the candidate experience, Link Shortening is now built into Messaging for both individual messages and broadcasts.
This feature is enabled by default and can be turned off in the Messaging agent settings.
How it works:
When composing a message, any links you include are automatically detected.
A banner appears, giving you the option to skip link shortening for that specific message if needed.
Once sent, all links are automatically replaced with their shortened versions, making messages cleaner and easier for candidates to engage with.
Enhanced version:
TRM
Phone Number Search Enhancements
The phone number search functionality within TRM has been significantly improved to provide greater flexibility and accuracy.
- Flexible Search: Previously, the system required an exact match to search for phone numbers. Now, you can search for a candidate's phone number even if you don't enter the exact match as it appears in their profile.
- Improved Deduplication: This enhancement is also designed to improve the deduplication process. The system should now recognize numbers as duplicates even if they are stored in different formats (e.g., "number" versus "+ 91-number"), identifying them as the same number.
Sense Scheduler: New UI Features and Improvements
The new Sense Scheduler UI offers several enhancements for interview scheduling:
- Time zone is now hidden.
- Candidate selection is now default.
- You cannot change the multi-time zone setting over here anymore.
- Drag-and-drop functionality is now available, which was not possible previously.
- You can now schedule an interview over an existing event on the calendar, a feature previously unavailable.
- You can view the calendar of any interviewer if they have connected their calendar.
- Google Meet and Microsoft Teams options will be pre-selected based on how your calendar is connected and cannot be changed.
- Basic options like subject line, interview time zone, and calendar selection remain similar to previous versions.
