Stage-Specific Rejection Reason Configuration
Previously, when a candidate was rejected (whether in the Screen, Offer, or Hire stage), all configured rejection reasons, including irrelevant ones like "offer decline," would appear. This was unnecessary, especially in the early stages.
This feature introduces granular control over the rejection reasons presented to users, ensuring that the options are contextually appropriate for the specific hiring stage a candidate occupies.
Key Functionality and Configuration:
- Per-Stage Configuration: Every stage within the hiring plan now includes an option to configure specific rejection reasons. For instance, if the "HM Review" stage is configured with only three specific reasons, only those three options will be presented when a rejection occurs at that stage.
- Mandatory Requirement: When creating a new stage, configuring at least one rejection reason for that stage is a mandatory field.
Workflow Changes and Constraints:
- Individual Rejection: A change has been introduced such that users can no longer reject a candidate from the milestone view (in the old UI). To reject an individual candidate, the user must navigate to the stage view and mark the rejection there.
- Bulk Rejection Limitations: The bulk rejection function requires candidates to be in the same stage (e.g., Screen, HM, or Offer). Candidates must typically have an active or on-hold status. If a user selects "all stages" or "all status," the bulk rejection function will be disabled. This constraint is necessary because different stages may have differing, configured rejection reasons.
Advanced Tag Search
This enhancement significantly improves the existing tag filtering functionality by allowing you to construct complex search logic using explicit AND, OR, and NOT (Exclude) conditions.
Previously, tag searches were restricted to only an OR search capability.
Scope and Status: This feature is available in the filter functionality across three primary locations: Matches, Applicant Filter, and Candidate Filter.
Logic Details:
-
Include Tags: Users specify the tags they want candidates to possess.
- Default Logic: The default condition is OR.
- AND Logic: Users have the capability to click and change the logic to AND. This allows searching for candidates who have Tag A and Tag B (e.g., "animal and good" tags).
-
Exclude Tags: Users specify the tags they want candidates not to possess.
- Exclude Logic: The exclude condition is always OR. The button to change the exclude logic to AND is disabled and cannot be clicked.
There is no limit to the maximum number of tags that can be added to the search filter.
Talent Pool Filter Enhancements
The Talent Pools main list and the individual pool views now include enhanced filtering capabilities.
Talent Pool List Filters
-
New Feature: Active/Archived Filter: A new filter has been introduced on the main Talent Pools page.
Functionality: Allows users to filter the list of talent pools by their status: Active or Archived.
Visual: Located near the "Actions" column on the main Talent Pools list.
Individual Talent Pool/Folder Filters
When viewing the candidates/suggestions within an individual Talent Pool or its sub-folders, the filtering capability has been aligned with other major sections.
-
Custom Candidate Filter: The filtering mechanism within the pool/folder is the same as the one used in the main Candidates tab and other candidate-centric tabs.
Functionality: Enables filtering candidates based on various attributes like single line text (Name/Email/ID), Gender, Level, Location, Source, Skills, Tags, and other custom fields.
Consistency: This ensures a consistent user experience and filtering logic across the entire platform.
Visual: Accessed via the "Filter" button on the top-right of the candidate list within the pool/folder, which opens the "Candidate Custom Filter" sidebar.
Candidates Section Integration
The Candidates main list now includes a dedicated filter for Talent Pool membership, allowing users to find candidates based on their inclusion in specific pools or folders.
Talent Pool Filter in Candidate Tab
-
New Filter Field: A new filter field named "Talent Pool" has been added to the Candidate Custom Filter sidebar.
-
Functionality:
Include Folders: Allows users to select specific folders/pools (e.g.,
f1.2,pool 2,f2.2) from the available Talent Pools. Selecting a folder will filter the main Candidate list to show only the candidates present in those selected folders/pools.Exclude Folders: Allows users to select specific folders/pools to exclude candidates from the results.
Integration: This establishes a link between the Talent Pools and the main Candidate database, allowing for cross-sectional data retrieval.
Visual: Located within the main "Candidate" filter section, below "Personal Information." *
Radius Search Enhancement
This feature represents an extension of the location search capabilities implemented on the CRM Jobs page. It allows for flexible, geographically bounded candidate searches.
Previous State: Location search was limited to a 1:1 zip code match.
Key Functionality:
- Input: Users first input a primary zip code.
- Radius Selection: Users can then specify a radius around that zip code (e.g., 10 miles, 20 miles).
- Distance Range: A slider is provided for customers to select a distance range, spanning 0 to 50 miles.
- Output: The search results will display all candidates that meet the criteria within that defined radius of the primary zip code.
